Well that was quick for adapting to other media.
I hope to see a Xillia series/OVA within a year or two. The game is still the best-selling Tales so far, right?

Oh, and they still have to finish the Symphonia OVAs first.

Of course not in overall sales; it's been out for a month. Highly unlikely it'll match up to sales of Tales games that have been out for a few years.

Looks like this is the final Tales Studio game after all.
As from the next year, Tales studio will be absorbed into Namco-Bandai, source: andriasang.com |

It's only mergered back to its parent company =_=". they might have a little less freedom with marketing and budget now, but it's not like the tales team is going to be disbanded or something. People are overreacting to one small article like always. Bamco is not that stupid to disband one of their most profitable team.

Although ToI is mothership title, it was an Alfa System's game and the remake, probably as well. But I actually thought that it is a reason to celebrate ToX, as it is the final Tales Studio game in it current form. As such I am going to import it, I actually did not wanted to do it. Here is a list of games where TS were involved in Tales Studio games Last edited by Sides; 2011-11-24 at 06:00. |

Again, I was never aware that they were separate in the first place. Every Tales game I've played has had Namco's logo on it. I thought they were just like Sonic Team and Sega. They have their own name, but they were always a part of the bigger company.

Namco Tales Studio was originally a jointed venture between telenet and namco, telenet went bust back in the early 2000s, namco got most of the shares since, some shares remained with some individuals from the company. But yes, you are right every tales game, has Namco stamped all over it, but only the mainline series had also telenet/wolfteam or Tales studio printed on it. |

Just started to play ToX on 2 days ago, after getting a white PS3 (prefer red / blue, however...) on few days ago.
The battle system is somehow like the combination of TotA (Free-run) and ToR's battle system (AP and the Unison system? Forgot it already ). Still not really get used to the Link Mode and the Orb system (somehow reminds me a random FF game). Probably need some more time to adept those new systems, since I'm more familiar on Abyss and RM (3)'s systems. Last edited by abc0716; 2011-12-29 at 17:13. Reason: Just find out the title is not changeable, it's somehow like achievements instead |

Tales of Xillia coming to the U.S.?
A new trademark filing suggests that Namco Bandai will continue its new push to makes the Tales series a success outside Japan.
Get ready for a piping hot plate of anime angst. It looks like Namco is bringing yet another role-playing game to the U.S. A trademark filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office by Namco hints that the Playstation 3-exclusive Tales of Xillia will be coming to North America sooner rather than never. http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/...ng-to-the-u-s/
