It is the production version of the YF-24, which the VF-25 and VF-27 are derived from.

It does transform, but as of yet it has never been animated in a Macross production, very much like the YF-25 hasn't...

We've only seen schematics of it in the series and references to it in official news releases via Newtype, Hobby Japan, etc...

A couple of HD (1920x1080) wallpapers of one of the posters for Macross Frontier: The Wings of Goodbye

I'll try to make a standard def 1280x1024 version later, but I'm not expecting it to be as good as the full image...

I did two versions with increased color saturation.

The second has more red which tends to bring out the colors better IMHO...

But no, I actually love my current car. I can't fault Sheryl's tastes though, because I'm 90% certain that's a Ferrari. Specifically it looks almost exactly like a Ferrari California. Bam.

I actually like the look of Sheryl's better though, it looks more aggressive, kinda like some weird mix between a Ferrari and a Corvette.

I can't fault her tastes in color either, that looks exactly like how my car's paint job looks at night.

No, I'm pretty sure that car is Expensive and European. I'm still sticking to my supposition that it's a Ferrari California. Look at the headlights on one on wikipedia and the ones drawn on Sheryl's car and the way the panels meet around it. It's an exact match. The rest of the styling cues are also very similar, nigh identical, to it.

And she falls twice ( at the movie and another magazine scan shows it)

I noticed that shot too in one of the magazine spreads. I went back to it and confirmed that yes, indeed, the interior also exactly matches that of a Ferrari California.

I'm worried it'll get wrecked. That would be awful, but I could see Sheryl's new episode 18 in the movie involving a car accident. I mean how else could they make Sheryl's day even worse? Oh, she could wreck her cool car.

I'd invoke that it's a good car and it has stability control and stuff like that but most entertainment venues in movies, series, whatever don't even seem to know about antilock brakes still. :/

On the plus side, she was trying to fly a VF-25 in GERWALK, which is easily the hardest to fly, and driving a car is significantly easier. Maybe she's not a bad driver. >>
