People would be giving him too much credit if you think Ichigo is actually going to formulate a plan based on an enemys weakness..the closest thing to a plan Ichigos going to have is to hear one of his friends cry...

Looking back, Ichigo used to think a lot in his fights...Renji,Ikkaku,Kenpachi,Byakuya, all of them fought while thinking how to drive them back or counter their attacks. Ever since the vizards came by and Ulqi/GJ were introduced, it's been a battle of brawn...or a battle of yawn (<-yes I got the nerve to make lame jokes like this without feeling shame)

Though in the end, its all about overwhelming them with power, enough to beat them or exhaust them, at least.

Funny thing is natural instinct is to observe the enemy, find out his weak points and act accordingly, predators such as tigers, lions, jaguars, wolves will spend quite some time observing their prey, making no sudden movements and silently stalking them until they are ready to pounce. Ichigo is the retarded but super strong lion that attacks another pride but somehow makes it out on top.

Even Hichigo uses more strategy

nice. both 2nd and 3rd seat arrrancar are causing quite some damage. im sure that soiphon wont lose that arm bc irohime or the healing vizard will help out. im really liking this arc as both sides are taking good damage.
