I must say, seeing this thread bumped gave me hope. A hope that I would scroll down and see the words "D.Gray-Man back from hiatus!". It was not be hahaha

i know but now it become bimonthly manga and i think it well go on hiatus again like high school of the dead one chapter after 2 years then hiatus too bad the 3 manga are good

It's not exactly the same. For HOTD, one of the author is making some hentai and all. So we know for sure that he's doing something.
But for D.gray-man the question is whether Hoshino is able to drawing again or not.

Other than the valvrave character design work and the one shot from last year I don't think she's done anything since. The most recent thing she's done is the box art for the valvrave blurays. Who knows, if she doesn't feel like doing other work she might go back to writing some more of this...

I've pretty much given up on it continuing, to be honest. It's just a bit too coincidental that she put out exactly enough chapters necessary to compile them all into volumes before going on this last hiatus. If it comes back, great, but I certainly wouldn't bet any amount of money.
