Episode 7:

I don't see why Aya should be surprised she weighs more than Karen - I mean, the difference in size is pretty telling when you put the two side-by-side...

But yeah, Alice is pretty right when she said that practicing self-restraint is a very Japanese thing. I've seen quite a bit of Western fans that flat-out cannot tolerate the whole "passive-aggressive" disposition Japanese people in anime or otherwise tend to have.

Anyways, the Youko tsukkomi was also at full force today. The first part of the episode was a bit all over the place, and got much better when we got into the Karen weight loss stuff. Love the part when Aya sees the girl feeding the boy and wanted to try with Youko. Good stuff all around.

Spoiler for Episode 8:

Today's episode involve the theme of school cultural festival. Alice has been acting weird recently, but Shino manages to forgive her so easily. Other than that, they spend a lot of fun within the festival, such as cosplaying as maids to work in a little maid café or have lunch break. Even Karen and Isami are there, and in the middle of watching, one of my older sisters is even trying to hear the Japanese language a bit before leaving, and it's no surprise that she likes Japanese animation though she mostly care about anime that were aired in the past. It's so hilarious to find about her! Back to watching alone, Alice gives Shino a present (turn out to be a ribbon hair ornament) and the way she puts it immediately feels weird. Too bad the show is close to ending already, and I wish it could have been longer since I'm really enjoying it so far.

And this episode was adorable as always, especially for Aya's denial, reaction to teachers' joke, and as maid and Alice on anniversary thing was quite cute too .

Also laughed at Karen's play .

I felt kind of bad for Alice that Shino didn't remember the day they met. But alas, an upset pouting Alice is too cute!

Win maid cafe too, Ayaya is too adorable! Karen~ she has great scenes as always. Definitely didn't see that one coming with the play.
