After watching the anime and loving it, but hating that prediction, I started reading this. I caught up in a few days and was annoyed I caught up to the point where chapter 421 left the story hanging.
To see Kaoru change from some childish girl into the character she is now has been a strange thing to read. I haven't read many other manga spanning 200+ chapters so serious character development is new to me.

At first I wasn't liking that Minamoto's feelings would lean more to Kaoru, I kinda wanted the relationship to stay the same as it was in the beginning (plus I'm more of an Aoi fan. Actually, I really like 'Double Face' especially the one with the long hair but whatever), but I'm slowly starting to like the MinamotoXKarou pair.
The end of chapter 242 made me smile.
Feather has a shocked face and her hands look as if she use teleport but I don't remember her doing that when she teleported in the past. If Karou did break through a wall then surely Minamoto would have heard and opened his eyes?

Even among long-running manga, ZKC is one of the few which show age progression like this. Makes you really look forward to the time in the prediction.

I'm thinking that 100% of all level 7s love him, carrie lets not forget about her. It's the just the nature of the beast.

progression for this manga has sputtered abit, the main focus the "prophecy" has not been touched at all and with the way the chapters have been structured this is like the "break" time before the real plot advancements, still if we look at the "movements" so far it's only really the lock box flash back chapter, some feather stuff, and some psuedo related stuff, still I'm hoping for some development in the near future.
