what are you guys using for translations?

I downloaded a program call atlas but the translation make no sense.

I assume you're using AGTH?


Anyway, AGTH + Atlas gives you babelfish-like machine translations so they're just something to go by.


Speaking of Prism Ark, I finally finished the whole game! Waahoooo! Priecia's arc was the only weak one, everyone else's was great with Kagura's being the weakest of the great ones. Karin, Teresa, Litte, and Fillia's arcs were the best ones. And yes, you really need to finish the whole game to get the whole story.

I have every CG, every team attack, but I'm still missing some prisms. They're probably in some hard battle routes somewhere in th game.

Altlas+AGTH has worked with every game I've tried except for Alicesoft's System 3 engine games, but the translation quality varies. It likes to spit out he words "floatage" "Externals" and a lot of gibberish in boxes like this: [ugba], but it's usually enough to give clues on what is going on. Sometimes it can be a pain when an entire sentence comes out with [] boxes and maybe one real word. It might be possible to tweak nouns, verbs and adjective interpretations which seems to be the cause, but I don't really know how or want to bother isolating each individual word to get a full sentence. It's better than nothing though.

Pretty much, which is why Prism Ark's going to end up as another Fate/Stay Night if they don't know how to cover the story. Maybe they might use Precia's route.

Also, Sister Hell and Kagura are love. Karin, too, but compared to those two, she's not as awesome. And Precia's arc being the weakest somehow reminds me of Yoake Mae Yori Ruriino na Crescent Love's Feena.

I'm guessing they'll have Priecia as the one Hyaweh hooks up with but,

Spoiler for game:

Include the following:

1. The mission where you and Kagura distract some angels so everyone else can escape and Kagura reveals her nature.

2. Litte's betrayal scene but with Priecia included after her "knighting" scene, and her Fillia arc comeback.

3. Final Judas battle aboard 'Arc' but with the whole party, perhaps.

Mmmmm, my Hyaweh with lvl 99 and the gold and everything can't kill most bosses with a single luna light. Knights of Destroy on the other hand creams pretty much everything in its path.

The Luna Light is probably (probably, because it's hard to get an exact measure thanks to enemy resistances) the strongest magic spell in terms of pure damage, but I find that more enemies have higher resistance to light magic than they do to black magic, hence I find Black Hole does more damage against most enemies, with the exception of:

Final Judas, who is immune to black magic

Plus Luna Light takes 190 TP to cast while Black Hole only takes 99, so it's much more damage for cost. And Black Hole seems to do almost as much damage as Luna Light. Against the mokujins, black hole is definetly more preferable.

Knight Of Destroy is the best prism in the game. Combine it with Filia's Broom (Yes, a broom) and that prism that doubles your damage for one turn and you get the best team attack.

Luna Light is my favorite magic, is just so cool and the damage is awesome. Black Hole is great too but visually ain't that great.

Spoiler for Don't read unless you finish the game at least once:

Judas' Black Hole gets a different animation and it's chant is longer plus some really high damage to the party except maybe for Filia who got a 100 (?) in Black Magic Resistance.

Of the 7 routes which is your favorite?

My fav. is Fel's. Next would be Filia's. Then, Litte, Theresa, Karin, Kagura and Priecia...

Poor Priecia, even though she is the main heroine her route is just too... boring when you play the others.

By the way, it seems Atlas v14 will be released soon. This new version features an improved translation engine. Here some examples found in the hongfire forums:

I actually find Meteor Strike to be one of the most used TA's in the game, simply because you can use it so much more often compared to Kaboom! using a brush. Together with MGR↓ Field (which you can get in the prologue), it's probably the earliest one-hit-killer you get in the game, and probably the only one you'll have on the first and second playthrough. After Hyaweh gets the Flame Lance prism in Chapter 12, you can start Meteor Striking everything once Fel gets Flame Lance in Chapter 7.

Anyway, attack comparison (Since everyone's a stat junkie, right? )
Magic:
Plasma Drive = MAG x 17+/-2% x 20 = MAG x (380-300)%
Black Hole = MAG x 290%
Luna Light = MAG x 11+/-2% x 18 + MAG x 122+/-2% = MAG x (358-282)%
Meteor Strike = MAG x 710+/-5% = MAG x (715-705)%

Physical:
Knights of Destroy = ATK x 50+/-2% x 10 + 150+/-2% = ATK x (672-628)%
Kaboom! using a brush = ATK x 1410+/-5% = ATK x (1415-1405)%
The War Maidens' Embrace = ATK x 180+/-5% x 13 = ATK x (2405-2275)%

Oh right, Prism names and descriptions are 90% or so done on the TLwiki. Anyone know Latin? We need help with Sister Hell's attacks.
