Something that does not follow the rule..

that 'the first boy that the main girl kisses becomes the 'soul mate' at end of show. Shoujou, hopefully 13 episodes or less, but 26 is good, too.

I also attemped to watch Inuyasha, but it just.. bugged me. I don't see why others like it so much.

There are very few anime that actually follow that rule, but I guess I get what you mean...

Princess Tutu (but they're only 10 minutes long in most cases)

you need to watch marmalade boy if you like love triangles. but it is very long.
