I thought so too, but seeing the ground-level replay, it just looked like a knuckleball.

Jaws said the same thing. Either way, it was a funkiest made kick I've ever seen.

Starting Kolb?

Did you see our offensive line?

It was vs. the LIONS FFS and Vick was dodging sacks like a ninja! If it was Kevin Klob in there, it would have been...in the words of The Thing...KLOBBERING time.

No way should Any start Kolb. Or if he does, I wouldn't be surprised if he got concussed again and then got cut ala Westbrook after repeated concussions.

Speaking of Westbrook, apparently he's playing for the '49ers now. Was hoping he'd retire after two concussions for health reasons.

Edit: So pissed that the Pats lost that game to the jets. How do you suddenly turn around and lose after having that highlight of the week with Moss burning Revis for a one-hander TD? What happened to the mojo of the unstoppable juggernaut offense that the Pats had going?

Seems Brady is more and more becoming a first-half QB, while Peyton gives the full 60.
It's not Brady that's the problem. It's the coaching. It's been coaching for the past couple of years. That and Brady focusing on Moss far too much when he has a bazillion other weapons at his disposal. Brady was money the first half, but everything that they were using, they just stopped using. That's a coaching issue.

2-0 fantasy start and points leader! Eat it brees, manning 100% the better pick, still it's sad that cutler ate both their lunches with just brandon marshall.

Yeah Baby! Feel the hurt niner fans, feel it! We take it any way we can get it...All of our experiences from the championship season has taught us well, and we can win any kind of game any kind of way...Sucks that Bush screwed himself over for the hundredth time, but we proved we can win without him..Watch out NFL, we're (Saints) not even close to our peak yet...Dirty Bird Gumbo is next!

Wow can Brees be anymore accurate with his passes. That one drive was amazing (so was the one by Alex Smith). That one deep completion you couldn't have much better coverage than that.

Too bad the 49ers screwed themselves over with all those terrible turnovers (many of them basically gifts to the Saints). They played a good game either way, but came up short.

Yeah let's see you win without Drew Brees then.

LOL, that's asinine. The saints are nothing without brees. They would be like the cardinals except they could play d, so they would be more like this seasons Ravens. In the end this a quaterback league and if you don't "need" brees I here Arizona has a starting QB spot.

I agree completely. Take a hard look at the successful Football teams in the NFL over the past couple decades. Almost all of them had a star QB behind center. The Saints would be nothing without Brees.

Haters gonna hate. Saints are the best, deal with it. Breesus is a good player, but the Saints win as a team.

Reggie is out... if you guys lost Brees your season is over. you would be like the cardinals. a 11-5 team that would have made the plays offs to maybe a 5-11 team. Seriously a defensive season as good as last year is STATISTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO match, due to the shear amount of turnovers converted to six. I'm telling you a playoff contender last year and the year before that the cardinals had made the superbowl but as soon as they lost Kurt Warner (although he is a future hall of famer, but brees had way better stats, and played out of his mind the first 6 games of the season) is most likely going to be a 4-12 team this season. That's how important the quaterback is.
