Ganbatte in ISML! Do your best to win that necklace and prove your superiority over everyone!
Seriously, Hitagi is just too awesome to be in that tournament.

here's hoping we get a little senjougahara in the last nise episode, as if not we'll have to wait until they decide to anime some of the LN after nise, which apparently they want to do

I believe Senjougahara should be seen at the ending since the series started with Koyomi and her..... She is at the top of the harem... and deserves it.

I think what draws me to Senjougahara is what has already been echoed in this thread, she is really unique amongst female characters currently present in anime. There are lots of strong-badass female characters (Revy from Black Lagoon springs to mind), but it seems rarer to get them in this style of show. She has so much depth, pointing to Nisio's talent. It's interesting because while Nisio makes a point of showing all his characters are multi-dimensional I don't buy it as much in some of the other characters - while Karen and Hanekawa are interesting (ok I don't think Karen is very interesting) they don't hold the edge that Senjougahara does.

You come to understand Senjougahara quickly despite her actions and I think that's what is important. Other shows have interesting characters but often their actions remain unbelievable even within the context of the story, whereas with Senjougahara her actions always feel natural and believable.

A girlfriend like Senjougahara will really make a guy feel the consequences of being unfaithful.... in a threatening way.... Just thinking of it makes me feel like a "masochist" already...

Don't know what you are getting on. I find her the least believable of all the girls. But that's her charm. Not that I feel any of it though.

Anyways. Beyond the shadow of a doubt - Senjougahara is in fact tsundere.

Is it spelled "Senjougahara" or "Senjyogahara"? The latter appears in official artwork...

There are several ways to transliterate Japanese, so fundamentally they are both correct. Just mind that "ou" here is meant to be a long o.

I think shes more Yandere, than Tsundere. But she crosses both lines.

I call her a kuudere. I don't see her as tsundere at all. She has signs of yan but as far as I know yanderes hide their yan until a climax, but Hitagi makes it clear upfront that she will go apepoop if things don't go right.

From what I know about yanderes, they're supposed to act cute and/or innocent, which isn't Hitagi at all. I'm pretty sure she's a tsundere, but hey, the dere-part doesn't make the character. She's Hitagi Senjougahara, that's enough for me.

She is indeed an interesting character, not to mention how unique she is. Though, I stuttered upon someone who tried to imitate her character a while ago, and it felt kinda wrong. Thre's only one Hitagi Senjougahara.

However, she's one of my top favourite characters. But, I must say, I got really surprised when she was crying in Monogatari Series: Second Season. What's happening between her and Tsubasa?

Araragi called her tundra. Senjougahara cannot be classified in only one archetype. IMO

i call her the "ideal girlfriend type"

mature and can be depended on,

she is one of those having the most unique personality, because i fell like her bearing a kuudere/tsundere/yandere type.

I would prefer her over C.C and yuno anyday

in the whole series, i think she does have the best personality and delivers the most impact on the viewers when she is on screen.

and shes an interesting character because she is dating koyomi and meanwhile "playing" with kanbaru

maybe she swings both ways? lol

Haha, I don't think she swings both ways.
I find her really interesting as well. Her and Shinobu. That would be because they both bring energy to the show.

I think she's quite above others in terms of genre savvy. She goes right in and snatch Koyomi from the rest of the harem. However, just because she and Araragi are in a relationship doesn't mean he will stop lusting over other girls.

Natsuno Kirihime from Inu to Hasami is kind of a wannabe-Hitagi, though she prefers scissors instead of staples. However, I haven't seen that much of Inu to Hasami, so I might be wrong. From what I have seen, though, she's clearly heavily inspired of Hitagi-sama.
