I'm really happy she's part of the cast as well, and even happier a certain someone else isn't

Sayaka's design looks nice, but Homura's remains my favorite.

Kajiura is releasing CDs under SonyMusic as well, so I don't really see why this soundtrack would go elsewhere, but My-HiME/Otome soundtracks were actually released under Lantis.

Why do people hate her so much? She has literally had six roles, almost all of them in low-profile shows.

Geez! You guys just cannot stop raggin' on her! Even in a thread she has nothing to do with. The only voice I recall EVER annoying me to that extent is Fran Drescher ... and New Yoakahs generally ... oh and of course South Africans.

And that's fine, but the only shows she has been in that people actually watched were Hidamari×☆☆☆ and Soul Eater.

Are her roles in that REALLY worth this much hate?

The problem with Chiaki comes from acting itself. I've watched almost all series with her appearance; (Seitokai Yakuin-domo, Hidamari, Natsu no Arashi, Soul Eater, SoreMachi, Arakawa) and now I can say for sure that she does no actual 'acting' what-so-ever. Under her acting, all characters become monotonous. Only voice that I can say at least 'decent' was Hotori from SoreMachi, but she still has bad habits of being far more over-the-top that what it suppose to be.

4 of 7 shows from is by SHAFT. She is definitely taking the path of infamous 'Shaft mainstays' (including Kamiya Hiroshi, Saito Chiwa, Kobayashi Yuu and Yuuki Aoi recently.), and I wonder why they keep using someone who hasn't been showing single variety or depth on acting since her debut.

Very much so. The "monotous" and "too nasal" part have been mentioned already by the others, and yeah it's just urrghh...

If not for the glasses girl in SoreMachi, I think I would've dropped the series.
