We have no idea who they are. The next episode title seems to suggest they are classmates.

Being from 20 years ago in flashback would be kind of fun if it had any importance to the story (aside from telling us why the school stopped supporting this sport). It would be amusing if it was Miho's, Mako's, and Hana's mothers in that tank, but that seems beyond impossible.

That being a Type 3 medium tank does at least give the school another tanks with decent firepower. Not enough against a really heavy tank's armor, but at least viable against most other tanks. The Type 89's gun has practically useless against any tank (I wonder if it could even damage American light tanks). The M3 Lee and the Char B1 are nearly useless, but can hurt some tanks and can take hits from lesser armed tanks. The Panzer 38(t) proved it can be useful with a good gunner at close range. The Panzer IV and StuG III were good to start with. The Tiger (P) can take on just about any tank made during the war and can shrug off a lot of lesser guns.

If Black Forest is using Tigers and Panzer IIIs, then Miho and company have a chance with their supposed 8 tanks. The Panzer 38(t) is about equal to the Panzer III (possibly slightly superior in places). The StuG III, Panzer IV, and Type 3 are superior to a Panzer III and the Char B1 and M3 Lee can give them trouble. The Tiger (P) will overkill them, but it would be focused on any Tigers on the field, as the rest of their tanks will have issues dealing with any Black Forest Tigers. I'm not sure if the StuG III can even do anything to a Tiger I.

Only the Type 89 is markedly useless against Panzer IIIs.

That eye-patch more like a butt on her face than peach =)). And that butt on right eye, while Momo also has a weird 1 glass on her right eye too =)).

Yes... and apparently she is the only 2nd year in the team, all 3 tall (and bigboobs) others are first year...

Just I thought of, Momo admire these team in some way, express awe with that way. Remember the photo when she join Ooarai High first, there's no monocule on her face. She was relative directly or not, maybe Momo finds and learn about Ooarai's Sensha-Do records, and of course, decide "What people I must became to be " within her. I think Ant-Eater Team's Eyepatched person was Anzu's relative. That's why Momo obey any order from Anzu, what crude or not.

Unknown. She's the oldest (She's a second year, the other three are first years). What I find strange is that all four of them have American tanks as their favorates, but are driving the Japanese tank instead of the M3 Lee (of course the M3 Lee needs more crew than a Type 89). She's listed as the "setter" in volleyball.

if you read one of my earlier post you will see that it is me who made the approximation of two girls ... and yes even though this is not the case it is very interesting

Yes she is. Besides, she is libero (center-fielder of volly-ball), libero acts as teamleader most of the time, and needs ability to resceive strong spike attack in center, or move hard for rescue every drop of ball from aground. Many good libero is shorter person worldwide.
