So boy.. I've been playing a lot of world of tanks recently. So much that my fiance has gotten quite annoyed at it.. I might be in trouble.. On a different note, what's everyone doing for the holidays? For those already home: spending time with family? For those away from home: planning to head home? The outcome is uncertain |

Plus there's a culture here for grown men like Saintess to run out into the pouring rain screaming- "WA MENG TI! WA MENG TI!" while trying to time it with the thunder and lightning... So that's always fun to watch What's a holiday?

i'll probably spend my upcoming holiday browsing amazon for some cheap games...probably.
i dont really have anything schedule. oh yeah, i'll probably play some P4 golden and take a walk around the house... and eat more pizza hut or some Vietnamese Com Tam or Pho. i guess it's just going to be another day of games and anime. i'm being VERY productive in life.

Going to spend my holidays playing DotA 2. I have had the key for 2-3 months but couldn't play it cause of the proxy network of my institute. So, after going home the first thing to do is DotA 2 - though my parents are going to have my head if play more than 2-3 hours daily *sigh*
Oh, and also going to read A Song of Ice and Fire.

As much as I would like to have a day off or two: such is not the case with me here. I'll have to wait till the end of this trimester for a break (which would come somewhere around... March, I guess)... thankfully next trimester seems to be a breather (hopefully it is )
Bombardments of assignments each week with only weekends (and a day off or two for those who're lucky to get credit exemptions), and we're all taking them like the masochists we are Character designing briefs not touched upon yet, 3D time of day renderings 2 scenes done out of 6, having to pick a local movie and study it - and make a trailer out of it (yeowch!) - all due within this week (the closest one being tomorrow), and yet another motion graphics assignment received for the week And for some reason I feel really deranged

I do.
I have tinnitus since long before I knew what it was, which rings constantly and gets louder as my surrounding gets quieter. In effect, I have no recollection of how "quiet" sounds like. And the sound of rain is to me more preferable than the ringing.

@RRW - There was this Taiwanese Super Drama (the type that last hundreds of episodes) and it was quite the craze here. The show itself wasn't anything special at all; just your standard soap opera stuff... But the theme song... The theme song became a runaway hit for Hokkien songs And that line was the 'best' part of the song

I still dont understand why SEA people like clinch storm and cheesy drama like this. Then again i dont really like serious drama stuff even in anime. Only soap opera that i really like is 1 Litre no Namida. thanks to my (girl)friends that force me to watch it. it blown my expectation back then. i am nearly cry (but not crying)

That's why its unintentionally hilarious and awesome
But like I've said, it was never about the show and everything to do with the theme song Of course, you have to have a taste for old school Hokkien music to begin with- Most of which are super dramatic and has to do with broken love or something similar... Maybe once in awhile you get something happy-go-lucky *pat head, rub belly, poke your cheek...*
