Welcome to the weekly manga chapter discussion thread. This thread is created early to discuss spoilers and speculation about the upcoming chapter as well as discussion of said chapter once it has been released.

As per the forums rules, please don't ask for or mention about where to download the (licensed) manga. Also remember not to post or link to any translations of the manga, since this is illegal as well. Posting a synopses or summary is fine (and welcome) but please do not discuss scans, raws, translation groups, etc. Additionally, if you are posting another's synopsis (or their translation of a synopsis), then please provide credit were credit is due.

Remember that the manga is licensed, do not post significant parts of the chapter. This stands for pictures and direct translations. Summaries are OK, crops of pictures are OK as well if you want to illustrate your point but this is it.

I think there is a new chapter this week, but I do not recall. Whatever the case, here's the new thread.

Ok, that was pretty damned epic Gai.
Madara comparing this to his fight with Hashirama? That's saying something, especially since we all know how massively OP Madara's lover is. Such a shame we probably won't see Gai win this, he almost deserves it.

Waited years for this, even though I also didn't want to, because of the implications. But my highest expectations were met and more, I'm in bliss right now. This and last chapter once more proved to me that Gai is the best character in the series.

What happened to the Fourth after taking those five projectiles? And how's he teleporting without making seals?

I believe the seals are already placed in the kunai already. he only needs to make a seal on a target he hasn't touched.

I'll be damned if that wasn't an exciting chapter though. Wow, that was just fantastic, Guy.

It has been far too long since I enjoyed a Naruto chapter. It is pleasant to get reminded why I was such a big fan of this franchise once.

I love that punch which put a massive hole in the ground. that reminds me of Dragonball Z days where Mountains use to crumble with just a punch. So Rock Lee can only achieve the 6th's Gate? I bet he'll go straight up to the 7th! amazing chapter, not to mention that Naruto is awake!. he should be able to go straight into Sage-mode and heal the rest of his own injury's, while at the same time sensing Gai's life fading away.

There may be a reason for this, but why is Madara not casting Infinite Tsukuyomi again? I think it was explained a while ago, but I forgot. Does he need both eyes, or was there a time limit?

I see the design I suppose...Guys air cannons/punches kinda look like elephants feet so the idea is to literally trample him to death...that's funny

Of course a technique that would murk Madara doesn't succeed because guy is forced to choke up (oh the authors pen)...then in the second round he didn't successfully land all five steps directly so Madara remains a troll

Naruto isn't really "awake". As you can see water ripples around him. It seams he is in the same place where he used to talk to Kurama.
