The mature picture of Cocoa, I think represents the fact that Cocoa is right in between the high noon of her Childhood, and the beginning of adult-hood. And we are seeing some of her eventual adulthood self emerging gradually, as well as that adolescent search for identity and some ideal of maturity.

Watched episode 10. The joke where Chino said she is "ready to serve a thousand customers made me laugh". XD
Hmm, so Chiya-chan's grandma is still alive.. and is a nice person, just like the rest of the cast. Hmm, and lastly.. Chiya looks cute in that maid uniform. ^^

I'm sad that it's over already. These past twelve weeks flew by, and this is by far the best slice-of-life/comedy show I've seen this year. As much as Kiniro Moaic and Non Non Biyori were fun to watch, GochiUsa still takes the cake in being the best of them all. I think it's because this is another work-related comedy rather than a school-related one, and while I have no problem with the former, characters act more naturally when they're not in the confines of a school and I think that makes for better comedy. Plus, the whole atmosphere is soothing and relaxing. When I started this, I didn't think they could possibly top the greatness of the first season. However, the double team of White Fox and Kinema Citrus proved to be a winning combination, as everything not just looked better, but the jokes were funnier, we got more character development, and even some backstory on some of them. I hope we'll see more of this in the near future. So far, BD/DVD estimates seem to be good (though not as good as S1), so if manages to stick around the 10k mark like before, there might be hope for this franchise. And if they at some point decide to adapt the crossover manga with Kiniro Mosaic, all the better.

My order is not a rabbit. My order is to get more of this every week for at least as long as we kept getting Naruto.
That aside, another cute episode, with my favorite Little Beans (pretty sure that's what chimame would translate as). Didn't expect a LOTR reference, but then Cocoa's supposed to be huge on literature, enough to be a big fan of Crime & Punishment; guess I shouldn't be surprised she knows about hobbits. |

Episode 12:
Kinda late, but it was a nice ending for Season 2 of GochiUsa. They sure love to take silly pictures of themselves, as well as Cocoa and the ChiMaMe-tai going on a treasure hunt (minus Chino-chan performing magic). Well, I'm gonna miss this series again! |

Can't wait for that sweet sweet honey. ^
-- Finally bought Season 1 and watched the first few episodes. As expected, watching it the second time around is just as funny and intellectual if not more. Can't wait for season 2 to get released. |
