"Doll" by Tokyopop

has anyone heard of this manga yet? How is it? I just saw it in a bookstore and it seems like a nice dark, deep manga. I would like to know more about it. Please share your thoughts!

I saw it and thought "Oh weird... A hardback manga?" and then I realized that I think it's the one that Cortney Love had something to do with and thought "Nah....".

*heehee* No, Courtney has nothing to do with this (that's Princess Ai)

This is by Mitsukazu Mihara who also draws for Elegant & Gothic Lolita magazine.

I have this manga, and really liked it! So I plan to get the next one when it comes out.

They are short stories about people who have life-sized robot dolls companions.

One story I really liked was the last story in the book "a maid servant" about an un-attractive woman who has a Doll who keeps getting vandalized by her ex-husbands new wife...but things aren't exactley how they seem... :O

I like how each story involes different characters. So you can see interactions of how Dolls affect different people. ^___^

Rating by me: A+

Dragging this thread to the top. I just saw this title in my Right Stuff catalog and found the synopsis quite interesting.

Anyone else pick up this title? I like stories that explore human nature in odd situations.

I wonder if this could be like another "Wings of Vandemiere" which I loved.

I did not like the way "doll" is drawn.
