To be honest, the only reason I'm so hard on Bleach is because there was a time I really loved the manga. I'll still call the Soul Society Arc one of the best WSJ arcs ever serialized. I'm just disappointed, is all. I have similar feelings for Fairy Tail.

I actually kinda liked the chapter when Ichigo's bankai got trolled hard. Top quality trolling by Kubo; completely subverted expectations there. The problem is that when you stop to think about, Ichigo (the supposed MC) has accomplished absolutely nothing in this entire arc. All that training and development? Complete waste of time. And that's unforgivable.

if you like power ups and rather awesome fights while ignoring personality or emotional development,

AND if you are ok with a last arc that makes bleach so overpowered that narutos version looked like a moderate power up than yes, it is totally worth it

PS: if you catch up before the manga is finished you can rage every week alongside us about the trolling, stupidity and impossible plot twists that happen in each chapter

Cheesy villain cliche. When you beat the hero within an inch of his life and leave him battered, broken, and humiliated in the mud you can't help but rub it in and spare him leaving him to wallow in his despair and misery. Considering Ichigo's track record in battle since the Quincy arc started Ichigo has been so pitiful he's barely even a threat.

Eh. Isn't that when Ichigo was fighting his inner hollow to get control of his hollow powers? Randomly, Zaraki appeared in his mind and then spouted that quote giving him the resolve to defeat the inner hollow.

If Ichigo, Naruto and Luffy come to find you and ask you to follow/walk with them....I will choose to follow either Naruto or Luffy, and definitely not Ichigo.

Ichgio betrayed my expectation towards him way too many time.

Remember the Karakura Town Arc when Ichigo appeared behind Aizen with a sideline text " Now they stand a chance of victory" or something like that only to see Aizen lecturing Ichigo.

I don't know, Ichigo got humiliated a lot, but his enemies were always that strong. It's not like Naruto who's biggest enemy is his own stupitiy.
