Ouch, only one of those mugs on ebay and its about $60...£40. Bit too much for a mug for me
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Spice-and-wolf...item53de344428 It looks to be unpackaged too, so I'd be worried it'd get smashed in delivery. Jeez, if I ever went on holiday to Japan with my brother (hes an anime/manga nut, much more so than me) I hate to think how much stuff we'd come back, him with about EVERYTHING and me with Spice and Wolf bits. We'd need an extra briefcase! If anyone else sees any more of these mugs going cheap, preferably somewhere reliable/I can actually read the website, then let me know PS. Wish someone would release a translated ROM of the DS games. I'd play 'em if I could read them! Although Im not sure what type of games they are haha Just found this, apparently it comes from one of the games, its actually kinda sweet if you read the translation, it'd apparently sung by Holo's seiyuu, and is definately from Holo's point of view (the apple comment wasn't a give away? ) I'd say the last verse though is kinda the most pointed, if the translation is correct: "Even on nights when I tremble with uneasiness, if I'm next to you, I'll be fine Certainly happiness is waiting ahead on this road So, since I'll be here forever, be kind to me" Now not sure if the games are canon or whatever, but if they are, I think that says a lot about Holo's affection for Lawrence The trading card collections on ebay are also pretty sweet, shame most of em are about £100. Edit: Wow, theres a high doujin/figure:anything else ratio. Couple of those art book collections too. If theres still some going reasonably priced, even if I cant read the writing, I might buy the artbook for the art come payday, help tide me over til book 2/news of a new season!

Translated ROM is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay outta my league...
That would be nice though as I am quite sure there is a large enough fan base to merit it... anything to get her more face-time/publicity!

Yeah, considering theres a few of these games, it'd probably be better done officially anyway. Or at least a proper translation group if they were to get hold of the games.
Damn, ebay is a dangerous place, if I were a millionaire... Actually if I was a multi-millionaire I could pay someone to translate the books and everything for me anyway

Additionally, if you're looking to pickup some figure merch on the cheap, you might try MyFigureCollection.Net, they have a sales section as well as a Club where users search out all kinds of deals, and offer figures for cheap at times to make up costs on upcoming figures they've purchased. I've bought from a few users there without issue.

I was hoping no one would bid, so that the seller would maybe break up the items for individual sale... no such luck! Of all the items, I just needed that poster... Oh well, just going to have to keep looking!

It's a relatively new artbook... only has about 16 pages came as an extra in a magazine. Well, Star provided the most of the images since his copy came in so here's a link: http://moe.imouto.org/pool/show/1569 Oh and above is the stable source for the image... proivded by Star!

I think I ordered this as well Rajura, mine's been sitting in customs due to the holidays in Canada. Hopefully mine should arrive tomorrow.
In other news, a Horo figure should be arriving today! Though one many people are likely not very excited about. Edit: Just after writing this she arrived.

Looks like I was following the wrong tracking number. FedEx just arrived with my package that should contain that book/magazine. I thought it was shipping EMS, turns out the EMS item I was following was actually GSC's Index figure, not the books.

Posted up a review of Global's Horo. The figure is more or less what you expect. But I did find you could get a good shot or two.
Spoiler for Incase it's deemed NSFW:

Um, those of you who were able to snatch this Horo
http://www.hlj.com/product/GSC96516 (originally ¥7,143) *might* want to think about insuring it. Going prices on Internet auction sites are currently running between $325 and $390 US. The only figures I have multiplying in price anywhere close to that are the Nanoha series figures. I need to create safer spaces for these things o.O (or kill the cat, decisions, decisions)

I know!!! I was lucky... I managed to score an unopened one about a week back for 13,000yen... pretty good all things considered!
Of course, ebay and amazon are notorious for artificially elevating prices if an item is "rare" in the West... if you can navigate Japanese or Korean sites, the prices are still a bit expensive but much more reasonable (as a general rule). Heck, just consider the books... for example Okami to Kin no Mugiho is listed for like $70 on ebay but runs for like 3000yen on some Japanese sites and that new artbook that is ~16 pages... on ebay folks want upwards of $40... I got mine for 700yen (granted still more than the original magazine it came with cost, but I didn't know about it until it was too late so...). No cats or small children right now to make me have to fear for her safety! Just gotta make sure she stays safe when I make my move to where I'll be working/training for the next 5 years!

Had anymore luck finding those other mugs/yunomi?
Ps looking back at that video linked above, the background artwork used is brilliant, Holo looking disinterested/aloof whilst Lawrence is watching, but glancing affectionately when he's not looking. Is so appropriate of thier relationship.

"It" what and who from? I have been trying to get my hands on that elusive greenish-brown yunomi for a while now... that is like THE one piece of merchandise I want that I cannot find... excluding a few Holo figures I am still working on getting and a few of those (maybe all) unofficial garage kits... but I can't paint and make them look awesome like I have seen some pics of them done by people so...
