He should probably have at least some kind of a scar from Whitebeard's beating in Marineford. |

hello :-).... im really exited to see what will happen in this arc it will be one of the most exciting arcs. luffy and law have become allies and now their taking on doflamingo and probably the navy and other enemies that might appear. overall this the real beginning of the strawhats new world adventure and their biggest test yet!

With the reveal of Ace's fruit being on the scene it does make you wonder what will happen with it. Luffy certainly can't eat it so that's out. I'm sure if it's going to anyone he'd rather it go to someone on his crew. Doesn't seem to suit Franky so he's out. Couldn't see Zoro going for that either. Probably too much firepower for Usopp or Nami. I suppose Sanji would be plausible if they went with the crewmate route. Already turns on the heat with his kicks anyways so wouldn't be a diversion .
Somehow I can't see anyone on the crew really taking it though. Suppose they could introduce a new character in this arc that would be suitable to take it and someone Luffy would support in having it. Just an interesting twist since it's not immediately clear where they might go with this. Of course everyone as usual is getting split up pretty effectively. Might as well relax I suppose since the pacing is what it is.

Donflamingo sure made a nice trap for Luffy.
Ace's flare-flare fruit is not gonna be easy to get. Sanji was LOL, he just can't resist a beautiful woman. OMG, that fool is so gonna get stabbed *facepalm* There is no hope for him at all *sigh* Looks like this was just a groundwork episode. Can't wait to see the colosseum action.

I'm not sure if Violet has been sincere or not so far. Is she really going to fall for Sanji, or is she just using him? She did want him to kill somebody, although I have a hard time seeing Sanji agree to assassinate anyone, unless it aligns with their current goals. You have a feeling that Sanji and Violet will probably end badly. Sanji can't keep his eyes off any beautiful girl, so he will always stray.
Also, Violet looks too much like Boa Hancock and Robin. As for the Fire devil fruit, I'm also curious who will end up with it. I don't want the Navy to have it, since they have already done enough emotional damage to Luffy and company. Taking the fruit would just make the audience (us fans) and Luffy want to burn the Navy to smithereens. I don't see a Strawhat crew member eating it either. Sanji fits the bill the most, but he is already powerful enough without the devil fruit. I'm pretty sure it will end up with someone new in this arc. Actually, the only powerful people that we know of that do not have a devil fruit power are Shanks, Garp, and Raleigh (although I'm not sure about Mihawk, whom I've always thought was a devil fruit user but can't remember his power).

Franky's interrogation style was LOL
Sanji was totally overreacting to that girl. Luffy/Lucy - the choice of name was just hilarious. He sure showed those guys who's really weak. Damn, this arc should be a blast. Especially the colosseum part. There sure is a lot of competition for that fruit. Luffy sure was enjoying himself.

Well, after watching episode 630, I gotta say the new soundtrack suits Dressrosa very well. I'm liking the track with the violin, guitar, etc. that starts at around the 10:30 mark, as well as the innocent flute that comes in as the toys are introduced.

When I heard Rebecca's voice I swooned. I haven't heard Megumi Hayashibara in such a long time, since the last EVA rebuild movie. I had expected Rebecca to sound more outgoing and aggressive, but Megumi gives her so much more depth than that, and Rebecca is a perfect character for Megumi. Her soft voice that sounds almost mystical caught me completely by surprise when Rebecca started to talk. I'm so pleasantly surprised that they could bring such a big VA for a secondary character.
