Hi it's me again. Quick update this time. How about that?
Page 08 (9th) is in da house~. *ahem*

Anyways, about the page. As you can see, no crazy ass backgrounds this time. Which is why it came along so quickly. This page is the prelude to one of Hiro's flashbacks which is on the next page. I had some trouble with the second panel, trying to draw Hiro from a lower angle (believe me when I say it's a lot harder than it looks). I wanted a shot of most of Hiro's body because I havn't done one in the manga yet. And people were thinking he was kakashi or something. So now there shouldn't be any confusion (hopefully). And yes that is blood on the 4th panel incase anyone was wondering for some reason.

Overall I like this page. *pats himself on back*

That's easy for you to say... I don't know how old you think I am but I'm only 17 so I'm still in high school. Also, I also translate for a fansub group called Anime-Influx. And I have other things to do beside draw... So I'm rather amazed I managed to get out 5 pages last month actually. Plus, I have to ink them all myself so I end up technically drawing the same stuff 2 times. If I didn't have to ink I'd probably be on page 10 by now.

Well I have all the cool parts done in my head. I don't actually have anything written down so I end up making the dialogue pretty much as I go along - which believe me, is pretty damn tricky. But overall, yeah I know the whole story.

I just hope I can get to the part that I want to draw soon. It'll be really cool if I can do it correctly.

Yeah I know. Slower = better quality from me. But it still would be nice to bust out 17 pages a week like Kishimoto does...although he probably just draws all day. I could never or want to draw that much in one day again. I once drew 10 hours straight working on some storyboards. Safe to say, I never, ever want to have to do that again. ^_^
