hi guys, i've been building gundams for a while now but i never felt the need to paint them. recently i bought a gundam exia 1/100 and i wanted to paint its switchblade sword silver (the colour they provide just looks too damn dull ><). as i'm quite amateur at painting, i was thinking of using tamiya spraypaints (from what i've gathered so far, tamiya is the brand to buy).

would using spraypaints be more effective then using brushes? also can someone give me some tips in spraypainting or perhaps provide a link to a website where they teach you how to spraypaint? much appreciated!!!

Nope. The stand is sold separately. But it's included in a set together with 0-Raiser

The "I" is actually a "/"

So it's GNX-704T/AC, not IAC

If you've noticed, so far most of the 00 HG boxart seem to be taken from a scene of some kind from the series:

00's is from when it first launched.
Cherudim looks to be from episode 5 when it was taking out the Automatons.
Seravee's is from the opening when it fires on Arche.
The Ahead art is from episode 1 when Zinin takes out that one Kataron Space Tieren.

And Mr. Bushido's Ahead boxart is likely from episode 4 or 6.

The only one that doesn't look like any scene from the series is the GN-XIII boxart, though it could be from episode 3 (which is what I'm thinking)

Yup, the GN-XIII boxart seems to be from episode 3, where Seravee shoots down its first GN-XIII, and all the other GN-X's come out of the smoke.

Most HG 1/144 00 boxart loosely come from scenes from the series, though for the S2 Gundams they've been refining them to look closer to said scenes.

Here's a comparison from S1 scenes to boxart:

HG Exia - S1 episode 1's ownage against Patrick
HG Dynames - generic firing shot, most likely Moralia background
HG Kyrios - generic firing pose, again most likely Moralia
HG Virtue - shooting GN cannons in space, similar to episode 10.
HG Nadleeh - reenactment of final battle scene from episode 24
HG Flag - Generic formation
HG Graham Custom Flag - Nighttime scene with burning town behind it and two other Flags leaving; similar to the Azadistan arc where Howard and Daryl leave Graham to fight the Dynames
HG Overflag - similar to fight scene in episode 17 against Thrones at MSWAD
HG Tieren - generic scene resembling the Ceylon Island battle
HG Tieren Space Type - Gundam Capture operation
HG Tieren Taozi - shooting pose similar to how Soma shot up Virtue in episode 10
HG Tieren Space Commander Type - similar to a scene in episode 10 where a companion Space Tieren gets shot down by Virtue
HG Throne Eins - long range shooting scene in the desert similar to episode 16
HG Throne Zwei - melee combat in a flaming background; there was a similar scene where the Zwei was hacking up Hellions inside a burning hangar in ep. 18
HG Throne Drei - Stealth Field release scene
HG Enact Agrissa Type - similar to 2nd OP scene of Exia and Enact clash
HG Enact Demo - Patrick's duel against Exia in episode 1
HG Enact Moralia color - kicking scene similar to episode 5/6
HG GN Arms Type E - heroic scene not coinciding with any known anime moments
HG GN Arms Type D - similar to episode 23 debut

...And afraid I went a little overboard there

1) Soma's ms stabbing Arios while Arios try to reach out its left hand for Soma's ms (I like that pose very much )

2) Closeup when Arios hits the building and opens the cockpit for Alle to get in

3) Arios MA mode, the screenshot when Arios MA mode is seen after cutting GNX-III and GNX remained body part is hanging in the sky before explode (But That's MA mode, do they need MS mode for the cover?).

Geez, no wonder Arios HG is not out yet, the staff can't find a single cool pose from Arios

It looks like it's gonna kick something to me... and the last time Ali kicked something with that blue Enact, it was the Exia. Though it's obviously portrayed differently here
