Fun episode, with lots of good fight scenes

So I've been right about my "Medusa" thesis. That "Algol" ex-demon-lord really was a lot like Medusa. Snake-like hair, attacking with snakes, and of course turning everything into stone, Medusas main power.

It was still no match for Izayoi, who really trashed it

Not even its super power could save it.

There was one enemy though that Izayoi couldn't properly deal with, that guy with the invisibility helmet that couldn't be sensed. Without help from You's echolot, he wouldn't have been able to defeat him, so he *isn't* all-powerful after all.

Really like Izayoi's taste at the end - maid's skirts have to be short, otherwise it's just boring!

You need to touch up on your mythology. Algol is associated with the Gorgon in the Greek tradition. Medusa was just one of the three Gorgon sisters.

Well that's a good sign.I just hope that the sales will pick up too so that another season is possible.
Speaking of which,why is this series tag as romantic comedy?Are there any?

Btw, since we have seen a constellation motif in the story, how likely do you think that at some point there will be enemy generals/societies named after the astrology constellations (gemini, pisces, etc, etc)?

Good anime adaptations seem to spawn pretty massive LN sales. The LN sales over previous years normally reflect huge spikes when they get an adaptation. Probably minus SAO, since it already sold so well.

Then again, One Piece was already the best selling Manga of all time when it went on a massive back catalog sales surge (to the tune of several million copies of Vol 1-5) when the Marineford arc went big. So, even super popular works can get huge sales bumps from popular adaptations.

You need to touch up your mythology as well

The other two Gorgon sisters were the immortal Stheno and Euryale. Only Medusa was mortal, and Medusa was also the one that was defeated by Perseus. Just like in the myths, it was the head of Medusa which the leader of Perseus was using. Therefore, "Medusa " would've been a much better name than "Algol". Besides that:

Wow, even on several places in the Top Ten (6., 7., 8., 10, 12, 13.). Seems to be really popular. I wonder why they shortened it from regular 12/13 episodes to only 10, if it's that popular?
Well, at least that means there's a good chance for a secon season.

Dude, it's right there in front of you; Algol is referred to as "the Gorgon of Perseus".

As in you know, Perseus' Gorgon? Or the Gorgon that Perseus owns?

And since they're using the Constellation Perseus as the theme, of course they would use Algol, the star in that constellation.
