Ippo's heart Break shot did stop Gedo momentarily before Ippo could lay his strong strait punch. Hmm seems Ippo also now has Eiji's "POWER" so to say.
As for "BORING" chapters of Ippo, there are many like this, it's always a setup for next fights, the bad part of the latest chapter there was not so much action, but storywise you could learn alot from Aoki and Kimura's loses saying getting back and never giving up and that they're different from before.

The Karasawa fight was kinda fun, getting to see Ippo in "champion-mode" for once. I wouldn't say no to another repeat of that. After all the crappy matches I'm kinda losing faith in Ippo's abilities as a boxer anyway

Imho Morikawa did a poor choice of making fighters for Ippo ever since the Gedo one.
Well I guess it seems here Mori wants us to see a feather weight version of Bryan Hawk VS Takamura. Itagaki VS SAEKI MAKE IT HAPPEN!!! XD

That's why Morikawa makes Ippo suck so badly in spars, so he can hype the opponent without giving Ippo a legit loss: Ricardo, that lefty that fought Sendo (Shigeta?), Itagaki's rival, etc.

it was good to see him again and knowing he is ranked 1st in the wba was a nice surprise .not so much that he was ranked but that his rank was so high.Out of everyone ippo has fought and won against vorg is the one who has gone the furthest in the boxing world. The old mans strategy was to make ippo pressure him into the corner then keep him there vorg went for the same plan and he got out it.does vorg look thinner?

Damn, Vorg is hot. With all of that hype from the post-Hawk chapters, I would hope he would be up there. Almost seems like bringing Vorg back was a homage to the post-Hawk chapters, especially with Hawk's coach being there. Still hoping the series would speed up a bit though, enough with random challengers, time to get back with the real boxers

i think that if Vorg lost than there will be a couple more chapters of Ippo pondering but if Vorg equald or beat him (unlikely IMO) than Ippo is still going to have a long fight, but change his strategy.
nice to see Vorg again. knew that he went up in class but, did not know that he was ranked no.1. that would mean that his title fight is probly near as well. hope we get a result. if mayata is ment to step up a class than i can see him figting Vorg for the title.
