Of course, some might say by having Zero/Lelouch brought down from an untouchable idol to someone real and seemingly more human Kallen might be more able to get 'closer' to Lelouch.

That was pretty much the only way the pairing had a chance of happening.

Hmm, I'm not sure about that, if it's sunrise op it's probably an indication of things to come. we'll see ^^;

i agree.

zero & kallen had no chance.

But Lulou & kallen has better prospects.

which is why the loli wouldn't of work, since she wanted to be Zero's Wife.

More a joke than anything else. Kaguya isn't ending up with him so there really isn't a point to discussing such a thing.

If you can provide any evidence that would ever make Kaguya a likely candidate, you tell me.

Yeah, so turns out Kallen was freaking out back in the cave because she thought that Lelouch might have geassed her into being a complete Zero fangirl. >_> (Damnit entire cast, stop blaming your own character faults and whatnot on Lelouch! >_<)

The memory gap from 3 was so inane to her she hadn't even realized Lelouch used it on her already even after a whole year to think about it. (unless she hadn't realized from the cave he couldn't use it more than once. >_>) But of course, Lelouch being Lelouch, who's always valued his subordinates free will, he quickly put that fear of hers to rest.

You have one quick scene that is immediately discounted by Lelouch.

And yes, it seems she will be trusting Lelouch a whole lot more now. This could likely lead to a pairing and some aspects of that scene simply scream that it is going to happen. As long as she doesn't start acting like a fangirl in any way.

Does her knowledge of Geass mean that she's talked with C.C.? I can't think of anywhere else for this to have come from.

Curiously enough, R2:EP2 was a complete reversal of R1:EP3 within the near same circumstances.

Ep3:
~Embarassing moment
~Lelouch at knife-point
~Questioning
~Trickery
~Sly Lelouch getting his peek and walking out.

Ep2:
~Embarassing moment
~Lelouch at gun-point
~Questioning
~Truth
~Sly Lelouch getting his peek but not walking out.

Aren't some of the scenes you mentioned from episode 3?

Keep in mind, though, that even if Kallen realised that was when he Geassed her, the resulting memory loss leaves her no way of knowing exactly what Lelouch commanded her to do while she was under.

Well, sort of. Kallen replied that she wanted to believe him, not that she actually did.

I think Lelouch's subsequent actions are helping ease her suspicions, though - particularly when he told Urabe he was wrong to say that the Black Knights were expendable in the cause of helping Zero escape, and just sacrificing subordinates wouldn't bring victory over Britannia. (For extra points, he lent her his jacket, and clearly wasn't happy about Kallen throwing herself in front of him in that last face-off with Vincent.)

That's not what I got from the scene. She said she believed him, then clarified that as believing in Zero, not Lulu.
