Paste the copied yellow layer into the selection.
This should blend the edges of the yellow layer with the red and blue layer bellow it.
Now switch to the red and blue layer and select the area directly below the yellow layer.
Either add a blur or softening.
The finished result should look something like this:



Then just merge this image with the one you made earlier. ^_^

Palsa-san, how would you go about "Deleting the yellow image so you can see the red and blue layer, but keep it selected."? I can't figure out how... is it even possible with Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0?

I'm not sure what Adobe has in the form of available features, but with Paint Shop Pro, you can go to the Layers tab and choose Delete.
This will delete what's inside the selection without removing the selection itself.
The Layers tab might also be called: Selections, Raster, Render, etc.
If this doesn't help, try going to the Help tab, they usually include a tutorial with most image programs.
If the tutorial has a search, type one of the following: Layers, Rasters, Vectors, Selections, Selection Tool, Feather, Matting, Masking.

I'm not sure if you guys are still accepting request or not. ( Only read the first page and last. ) if you aren't I'm terribly sorry and you are free to ignore me and call me annoying. If you are still accepting request then I would like to request and avatar and signature. ( Also if I request wrong, sorry in advance. I did read the rules though so I hope I got how to request down lol.) Okay...well.




I wanted to know if I could have a avatar of Ikki off of Air Gear. Any pic is fine, but since I have to be specific I guess I will say a pic where he is dressed in his Kagarasumaru jacket.

I also wanted to know if I could have a Air Gear signature pic thingy, (dont know what they are called. But I was told its a major sin to copy and paste a signature piccy thing that somebody else created and use it. Hehe ) As for what I want in the signature...well I would like something like a picture of ikki or Icarus. (Icarus is the one who flown with wings of wax and when he flew to close to the sun his wings melted and he plummeted into the sea were he drowned to death. ) However icarus is probably to specific, since I highly doubt their is any actual pictures of him. I guess I just want a pic of Ikky with his wings, and a quote that says something like.... " Are your wings made of wax? " or something like that lol.

I guess maybe I got to specific and demanding, I'm sorry *sweat drops* Its just so hard finding air Gear avatars and stuff. Anyways thanks for your time.
