Wow, looks great. The Tales of series always has such cool character designs and concept worlds.

Unfortunately though there is no audio/sounds.
Youtube blocks some audio due to copyright issues. Abyssalchronicles got it with sound.

Great visuals, though if I were to compare openings I'd say Vesperia and Symphonia's openings were a little better.. on the action side anyway.

The pacing of the OP is also a bit... weird. I don't know, but it felt as if some scenes were too quick or some were too slow.

Great OP! I think it's been since Tales of Rebirth that a Tales OP wasn't focused on firing up the crowd (tempo-wise).

Only a few more days left...

I thought that it's just SEGA that can put Vocaloid thing in their game, look like Bandai Namco with Tales of Graces have also put a costume of Hatsune Miku for Sophie
And also put the costume of the trio from Idolm@ster DS for Sophie, Cheria and Pascal.
They are DLC that cost money (about 4$ for one costume per character)

I can't believe I never noticed or heard anything about this game until now. >.> Well at least that's 4 months less time that I'm dying waiting for this game.

I've known about this game for about 20 minutes, and I'm already in love with Sophie's character.

How are you guys playing it? Do you have a JP Wii? Or some kind of mod to play it? I asked about such a mod for playing JP games on a US Wii but came up with nothing. >.>

Well i got 2 Wiis, a jpn and a pal machine, so no problems here.
But you can get the homebrew channel installed and run GeckoOS, which is like freeloader but offers better compatibility. However i don't think some DLC will work, since the points are tied to the shop account.

Well I don't use Nintendo channel stuff really, so that wouldn't be a problem for me. But what's this about GeckoOS and homebrew channel? (I get the idea about what they are, I've just never heard of them)

We should probably move this to PMs though.

I'm planning to use Freeloader to play it. That's what I used for Ratatosk no Kishi.
Though I'm busy with Pokemon, so I'll probably watch the play videos on NicoDouga for now. There are already two videos up, by the way. Very... high video quality.

Apparently the DLC codes do work on non japanese machines. And finally the hp has been updated with DLC info, mini games and wallpaper. There is even link to a survey on the page.

First two hours of the game are awesome so far. Fairly unique way of starting a Tales game if I might add, story-wise.

Opening is excellent.

That is all for now

Is there actually a website there? When I visit that address I only get some banners. I've looked in my blocked items list, and there's no Flash object blocked, so what's the deal? Is it sniffing for Flash availability? Usually they insert a link to the Flash download site if they don't find it.

Yup, it is a flash site. You have to unblock, or allow, namco-ch.net and bandainamcogames.co.jp if you're using something like NoScript.

So Freeloader still works on Nintendo Wii? I heard it got killed by a Nintendo update a while ago. And how dependable is Wii Homebrew?

Yes, I'm dying to find a reliable way to play JP games on my Wii, especially thanks to this game. >.>
