Perhaps if we knew what you meant by "anything" we might be able to provide some clues
... at the moment, the only things happening with Negima!? are:
1) the current unlicensed anime series - "Negima!?"
2) the Del Rey english translation manga series (running 4 or 5 books behind the japanese language manga series)
3) the R1 release of the original anime series Negima by Funimation.
4) some Figumates of the characters
5) random collectibles on ebay including figurines and CDs
6) some CDs left for sale on cdjapan.co.jp.
7) some goofy "manga based on the anime of the second series of Negima!?"...

I suppose you could go find the romance comedy series that Ken A. wrote *before* Negima. Its called "Love Hina" and its a complete series of 14 books. That should keep you busy --- the first thing you'll see is that a number of the characters seem familiar...

While Nodoka is definitely a favorite for which girl Negi likes, the fact that he also has a similar (but not as strong) reaction when it comes to Asuna also makes her a candidate for which girl will most likely end up with Negi at the end (although I really hope it's Nodoka, as she's my favorite character in Negima).

Of course, thanks to Nodoka using her Diarium Ejus to find an answer to her dilemma involving her and Yue both having feelings for Negi, there's another possibility of how Negima could end: A THREESOME (with Negi ending up with Nodoka and either Asuna or Yue).

Well first things first Negima is a hella awsome manga and i have read all 12 english mangas and i am the proud owner of all of them too =). The series so far is getting very interesting and i cant wait untill thirteen comes out at the end of February . Well Negima i highly recomend to thoughs who have not yet read it it is basically a ten year old magi (in training) and he has to teach a class of 31 students (all girl he he he ^-^). he has to pass that to become a full magi. I is hella funny and it over all has a good plot and i give it a 9.99 out of 10 (out of how much ( i have read 12 out of my knoledge of 20).

I'm glad the Mahora Festival is over, that's got to be some kind of record for the most chapters of manga taken up by a single school festival

I'm starting to wonder if Akamatsu has dug himself into a bit of a hole, just from creating such a huge cast--I think part of the reason it feels like the plot has slowed to a crawl for chapters 90-160 or so is that he has to keep bouncing around between so many different characters. Even in Chao's arc it felt like a lot of the material was filler, and not central to Negi's showdown with her.

I have high hopes for the next arc though, once summer vacation arrives and Negi can go to Wales and the world of magic for clues to find his father. I'd love to see Negi, Asuna, Kotarou, Nodoka, Konoka, Setsuna, and maybe Yue make the trip, and leave the rest of the class behind--with a more managable cast, I think Akamatsu would be better able to really move the plot along and come up with some good dramatic moments. I don't like Nodoka at all, so believe me I'm not saying that because those are my favorite characters--I just think they're the closest to Negi and the most well-developed characters so far. Although if the next arc turns into a class trip and everybody goes, I'm predicting it'll take two volumes just to get them from Mahora to the airport.

Oh yeah, there's definitely some areas that slowed things down here due to characters that aren't important to the main story (i.e. the tea ceremony chapter, the Ako arc). However, I do feel that most of these chapters do have some importance to the main story at hand (i.e. Mana's chapter to show that she has a role in Chao's plan, the Library Island tour to upgrade Yue and Haruna to "Ministra Magi" status.

First off, must avoid Negima/Noir crack (yes it does invovle a possible trip to Wales).

As for who would go to Wales:

1. I definitely believe that Negi, the Kanakana-Gumi (a term used to refer to the group that is Asuna, Nodoka, Setsuna, and Konoka), and Yue would be going to Wales (with Haruna and Chisame also going along due to them being Ministra Magi as well).

2. Kotarou, along with Kaede, Ku Fei, and Asakura will be very likely.

3. The rest of the students are up in the air, although it may be possible that Ayaka, upon finding out Negi and his Ministra Magi's trip to Wales, will get jealous and will want to go to Wales as well, which results in the "insane" girls going to Wales as well.

However, I don't think it will take two volumes just to get to the airport.

Posting here to say... I blazed through 17 volumes of the best manga I've read since the epicness that was Dragon Ball Z when I was 5 years old. Seriously, combining Harry Potter/other magic stuff, Dragon Ball Z/other shounen action, and Love Hina times five is the best thing anyone has ever amassed. Props to Akamatsu for this change in direction and having fun drawing on a large scale. (At first I was reluctant to read this since it had over 150 chapters and I didn't like the idea of a harem of 31... but eventually I had to read this XD).

The Mahora festival is like Namek the way it drags on FOREVER (9 volumes...), but I can't believe that I think it's the best arc yet with all the strategy fighting and relation building throughout a time frame of 3 days (10+ if you include time travelling and Asuna's breakdown). It's a shame we didn't get to see the play performance and Zazie's circus appointment (did he forget it????? why are we in post-festival mood????????). I thought that Negi would time travel back to the beginning of the third day again to see them, but too bad the time machine broke in his fight with Chao .

This thread looks slow. Why isn't this active like the Naruto and Bleach manga threads?????? =/

And some questions that I have:
1. How did everyone activate their final forms without Negi chanting or being there? Setsuna had wings without Negi! >_> (happening since Volume 9?)
2. ...Why didn't they delay the manga-anime transition? Why oh why did they make an anime that I'll never see due to poor reception/reviews? Why did they do a remake? WHY NOT WAIT UNTIL 20+ VOLUMES BEFORE MAKING THE ADAPTION????????????????

And some current-chapter talk (164):
Now that we're in post-festival mood, I wonder how some class members will react since Negi didn't visit their attractions on the third day... and Misora is really getting the dough now that she's a nun mistaken for a priest XD. Looks like it's going to be pretty tough on her!

I'm not sure if you realise this but the remake of Negima?! can't really be called a remake and it does not follow the current mahou sensei negima manga, it instead will follow a new negima manga that have been released alongside the old manga and is called negima neo... What does that mean you ask? Well it means that the Negima!? remake has nothing to do with the manga you just read, but is a completely different story except with same characters....

The first negima anime wasn't that bad i felt, sure they didn't follow the manga, but i still enjoyed the bits and pieces taken from the manga and animated... It's still quite good. If you haven't seen the anime then i advise you to watch cause it's ok, not good, but ok....

Agreed, i hope the anime version of the Mahora festival comes out. Still, we shouldn't be too greedy, maybe the anime wouldn't turn out so good and then the manga version would be tainted too..? Still, we can hope...and pray..
