I don't know if I'm right or wrong but I though the Electronic Spirits (the main reason for Nina's increased power) were cooperating with or using Nina for a certain goal.

That it did end where it did. Since everyone says its such a different take I take it as such and i enjoyed it. On a side note I personally cant stand felli and her character type. Of I cant display emotions and only this boy who I get emotions for can do it for me and such. Also some stuff I'm gussing wouldn't work. Like the leerin and layfon incedent. Since from what I can gather the novel version of her and anime version are portrayed different at least I hope thats the case.
