Rozen Maiden ~Träumend~ (Season 2)

Well... the first time I watched ep 12, I was going with the assumption that Kirakishou and Laplace Demon = S3 villains - Kirakishou looks sinister after all, and Rozen is actually good (as opposed to Anju, plus Rozen had the yellow godly glow). They don't seem to be on the same side, since the Laplace Demon was helping Anju with what happened in S2.

It doesn't seem like Rozen would just give Rosa Mysticas to Kirakishou and not revive Souseiseki and Hinaichigo. But then again, he was (probably) the one who came up with the sick idea of the Alice Game.

Well just finished watching the last ep. I just watched both seasons in around three days.

I still find it strange that I was watching a show about talking dolls. But whatever.. Shinku all the way! I really like her character.

The way 2nd season ended leaves many to be explained. But that's exactly how I like it. Let's go for a third

One thing I must say is - That rabbit still creeps me out. Really.

Who is Kirakishou again?

I just finished watching episode 12. Season 3 can be something entirely new like a new protagionist. As for the enemies, it can be a rival dollmaker that makes (...) Maidens of his/her own.

I hope there is a third season for this series (with all those laplace and kirakishou stuff)

a bit of topic, but after watched the last eps I got some funny idea to make a comparison between the dolls and the seven deadly sins (don't know if someone has already write about this) here's mine:
Suigin Tou - Envy
Hina Ichigo - Gluttony
Suiseiseki - Lust
Souseiseki - Greed
Shinku - Wrath
Canaria - Sloth
Barasuishou - Pride
what do you think?

All except Suiseiseki and Souseiseki unless the manga has some stuff inthere those two don't really fit the sin.

Canaria fits Pride better, IMO (all the smartest of the Rozen Maiden stuff), while a case could be made for Kirakishou then taking Sloth (just hanging out in N-space while the entire second season is taking place)

I'm not quite sure about Suiseiseki and Souseiseki, too, but not much really fits them from the sins.

Hmm:

Suigintou... yes, I can see that one in a way, because she could easily be envious of Shinku, the fact that Shinku is fully complete, has a good medium, and so on.

Hina Ichigo. Yep, spot on, the gluttonous little thing that she is (just how many full-sized burgers with flower shaped eggs on top can she eat?!)

Suiseiseki. Yeah, I'd agree with this one, because secretly she does lust after Jun and wants him to be her medium, even if she goes to silly lengths to deny it.

Souseiseki. As far as I know, she's quite different in the manga, so who knows, this might fit her quite well. But as an anime-only person, I'd say it doesn't fit her so well. Though... she does start the ball rolling, so she could be seen as greedy for starting the game (she wants the Roza for herself to become Alice). So yeah, I think Greed does suit her actually

Shinku. No way. No way in hell. Shinku would be Pride, if anything. She has a fierce pride in her own pacifist views on the Game, and prides herself on her manners, etiquette, relationships with others and so on. The only time's she's really shown wrath are at the end of either season at the main showdown, and those are both one-off occasions, not actually part of who she is.

Canaria. Initially, I wouldn't agree with Sloth, because she does take the initiaive and makes the first move against the other dolls. However, after a short while she settles down and grows somewhat complacent at Jun's, along with the other dolls, so Sloth would fit at that point.

Barasuishou. Wrath would fit Bara much better than Shinku IMHO.

Sorry, I was a bit vague there as well, I wasn't really replying directly to your question. I was merely suggesting that it would probably be easy enough to fit each of them to a virtue as well as a sin.

Wow, there are more than I thought:

Faith is belief in the right things (including the virtues!).
Hope is taking a positive future view, that good will prevail.
Charity is concern for, and active helping of, others.
Fortitude is never giving up.
Justice is being fair and equitable with others.
Prudence is care of and moderation with money.
Temperance is moderation of needed things and abstinence from things which are not needed.

That's the Seven Virtues. However, there are also another seven that directly contravene the seven sins as well:

The Seven Contrary Virtues which are specific opposites to the Seven Deadly Sins:
Humility against pride,
Kindness against envy,
Abstinence against gluttony,
Chastity against lust,
Patience against anger,
Liberality against greed,
Diligence against sloth.

My question may get ignored again, but meh, whatever...

Did anyone begin to like Barasuishou more during the final few eps? When she first appeared in RM, I thought she was pretty bland. But her psychotic side portrayed in the last few episodes has really made me take a liking to her. I think she was better in the "main villain" role than Suigintou was.

And the echo thing is so annoying it's cool!
