Yeah, I gues you are right. I probably just dislike him becuase he was always trying to take Kagome away from Inuyasha

I do feel someone, besides Naraku , should die by the end of the series. It just wouldn't be an epic finale with a great villian if at least one more person did not die.

LOL, totally agree. Rin can never die, she will steal the jewel shard and wish to become immortal with her Sesshomaru-sama .

I'm starting to get the feeling that no main "good guy" character is going to die. Which I think would just tick me off. It would just make all this suspence pointless. I mean seriously, although I don't mean to sound like I'm a death craver, but someone needs to die.

Kagome’s arrow disappeared before it hits the Shikon no Tama, like the situation with Hitomiko before. Thinking of Hitomiko’s last words, Kagome has strong belief in herself of hitting Naraku. Because of that, the arrow shines brightly and stabbed through Naraku’s true body. At the same time, the illusion of Naraku which Sango is attacking vanishes.

The falling Rin gets caught by Kohaku and Sesshoumaru appears, attacking Byakuya, and Byakuya flees. Sango said to Sesshoumaru even if he tear her to pieces, its acceptable, because she had once wanted to sacrifice Rin, and she has no intention of trying to escape the responsibility. She has only wish and that the penalty can wait until Naraku is defeated and Miroku’s curse has been lifted.

On the other side, Inuyasha and Kagome sprints towards Naraku’s true body, taking Miroku with them.

Any character getting killed would be cliche? What exactly do you want? It seems you have been brought into the cliche that at least one good guy must die. But in reality, all the good guys living has been done many times, and some getting killed have been done many times.

Both are a cliche...so pick a cliche,lol.

Personally, I read fiction for happy endings. I get enough sadness and bitterness in the real world. Again, just me.

I was pointing out the cliche of the situation King Lycan proposed for Inuyasha to die in a fight with Sess. Yes I know its cliche either way, but I just feel with all the damn suspense and dragging on with the series, without some more deaths I don't really see the point of why they should have kept the story going on as long as it has. I like both happy and sad endings, but I just feel with how long Inuyasha has been going on there has not been any real surprise moment for me. I've been wanting that surprise moment for a while and the only thing that would surprise me at this point would be one of the Main characters death.

With that said this is still my favorite manga next to Negima.

it has all the aspects to point to that. aside fron the oni stomach trap it has more solid hints.

most baddies are dead, miroku reaching the end of the kazanna kagome with powers again. naraku became a large spider.

I would say end of plot, but this 'end' could be like another 40 chapters knowing the author.

that seems quite likely :s, she does like to take her time when it comes to finishing the last arc of a manga series.
