The show might target younger audiences but I found it pretty watchable at my *censored* age. I actually watched through half of the first season (stopped because of personal reason, nothing was wrong with the show).

The reason why I suggested this song, as mentioned in my pm to you, was to begin with something recent and this song was one of the releases that I looked forward to. It's not one of the best anime songs out there, but it's just catchy enough to make me not skipping it when I watched the show, especially its introduction.

Someone caught my trap, this game can't be played without good players around. I can't be greedy, making way for others is the best option.

I was just joking with you guuchan, I watch these shows from time to time as well. This probably doesn't even compare to the childishness of Daa! Daa! Daa! or some of these magical girl shows I've watched.

I'm pretty much fine with whatever songs you all throw at me just as long they follow the rules. Actually, I would rather the melodies be slightly difficult to guess as opposed to them being too easy and people guessing them all the time on the first hint.

Thanks guuchan. I actually thought it was a Precure! song (with the background shouting and mahou lyrics) so I had to watch several songs from the Precure series before youtube led me the right way.

I thought you wouldn't guess this one since I mistakenly believed the song was from a magical show aimed at kids until I found the actual OP. I agree that this thread needs more participants. Maybe it will in time since this thread is still new or maybe others have a hard time guessing so they didn't post.

Can I suggest more ground rules? Maybe during the third or fourth melody hint there is an additional hint like the year the song was released? or whether it's an opening or an ending?

I agree with the later but not the former, which means I think the current set of rules is fine. And I have to say, that's some confidence you got there. I think I'm kind of known in anime/game music world, and I wouldn't dare to say I can recognize 90%+ of anime music.

Guess That Anime Melody #005

I think Rika_Chama choose this song just to torture me.

Speech singing is so annoyingly difficult to transcribe so there are probably a few errors here and there. This singer had a weird voice and a tendency to scrape and bend a lot of notes as well which only further added to the difficulties. My gackpoid seemed to have a worse than normal speech impediment on this song as well -- I just couldn't get him to cooperate...

Best of luck trying to decipher this one...
