When the crew goes out shopping, and Lacus is trying on clothes, what exactly are Kira and Athrun chatting about? Is there a popular opinion?

Yes...I believe Athrun and Kira were talking about what Kira and Lacus are doing about something, and Kira said that it's alright with him and Lacus, and Athrun gets all grumpy.

I have no idea what they're talking about for real in here, but I think that Kira and Lacus are OK with what they're doing as leaders of the new strike force opposing Dully. I'm NOT going to suggest that they already DID something, but...it also looked that way, that's why Athrun was grumpy? (and it crossed my mind too, at one point...EEEIIICKKK....x_____x )

Then, I also think that Athrun was just grumpy because Kira acts as if Lacus is not in great danger traipsing around Copernicus. Take your pick.

I've always thought that conversation had a double faced meaning...

A: "Look Kira, Lacus is like... famous you know, really friggin famous!"

1. K: "Its ok Arth, Lacus and I already... *insert creative imagination here, but its pretty obvious*"

OR

2. K: "Its ok Arth, we've come this far, Lacus and I believe what 'we are doing' is right."

1. A: "*Gets jealous* FINE! Be that way!"

OR

2. A: "*Gets grumpy* Alright. Whatever!"

Although the original dialogue really points to option 1 more so than 2.

I think because Athrun is worried that Kira is not acting like what a 'supposed boyfriend' of Lacus supposed to do. Lacus' comments on Kira when she tried some clothes serves to strengthen this.

I doubt it. I think Athrun is jealous, simple as that.

Lacus knows Kira very well, they've been living together for two years already. She should know that he has no fashion sense, especially about women

And you know Lacus was just teasing Kira when she tried to get his opinion.

And EP 46 is probably the first time Lacus & Kira went on a *Semi* date.

Listen to the original dialogue and watch the scene closely. Soon after the comment, she was laughing alongside Kira & co. because they all find Kira's clueless character *regarding female fashion* to be quite hilirious. That and Lacus probably wanted to make fun of him.

Besides, Lacus has a far better fashion sense than Kira anyway, she is after all, first and foremost an idol.

In most of GSD Kira doesnt seem to have any sense at all

most of the time he looks like he wouldnt even notice if Lacus would be walking around naked

imo she was trying to get Kiras attention on her, because most of the time it seems he doesnt notice her ( or anything for that matter

)

Thank you I thought I was the only one who noticed this. Kira seemed oblivious to most of what was going on around him Lacus could have lit herself on fire and I don't know if he would have even batted an eye.

Well, lets not forget that...

Kira saved Lacus from being shot several times. He almost singlemindedly escorted Lacus' shuttle to space (and asked if he could be with her). Then there is the infamous episode 39 (I love it *tear*). Ok ok, maybe we will have to wait for the movie for this whole mess to get official, eh?

Cmon, lets not be too hard on the man, hes been through much, he deserves a break.

You know the talk of cloth's made me think in GSD the only cloth's I ever saw Kira wear were his uniform and that one "Civilian cloth's outfit" has anyone evr wondered why they don't give the character's a few options when it comes to cloth's. I'm not saying huge but maybe a few different thing's makes me think Kira is neglected he can only have one pair of cloth's. I mean can't lacus spot him some money she is a rich singer after all

Have them ever hug. Have them ever kiss. Have them ever say that they love each other. Sex, I can care less. Kira and Lacus been hagging around two years and all we get is those to looking at each other right before he gets his new SWORD.

Sure they did, they hugged a couple times in the show. Kiss? Remember in anime, you only kiss during the grand finale

(The movie, *hint hint*). Also remember this being a Japanese production, which means: no kissing every five seconds! A la Hollywood

As for the sex part? Use your imagination, that is all I have to say. Or read doujins, there are plenty of those stuff around

about ep 39... the funny thing is Kira had little to do with it - he went to space since Athrun asked him to go and save Lacus - he would have gone himself had he had the ability to move at that time

imo Athrun cares more for Lacus than Kira

Well, I disgree of course. They both worry about Lacus, and Kira already wanted to go (he wanted to go in the first place, but it was Lacus who told him to stay, don't forget). So he got on the Strike Rogue (fortunately in Kira-colors) and went.

So the kiss was in the FINAL PLUS. Well at that point GSD was dead to me.

Well its true that they both worry about her, but if you would ask me wich one cares more id go with Athrun. At least he has the will to do something even in his condition while he cant even sit up, but Kira simply stands there and does nothing untill Neo announces that Athrun is telling Kira to go. He just sits there while Lacus is about to be killed and does nothing because he has been told so. Athrun wants to save her no matter what, Kira is ready to sit there because he has been told so.
