Well, from the summary of the first episodes, it looks like they will heavily fillered. At first look, it seems like the one-hour special will cover the grand total of one chapter. It lets room for either filler or recap. But well, episodes 2 and 3 of Naruto had lot of fillers.
From what I got, they changed the orders of a few things. Spoiler for episode 1:
Spoiler for episode 2:
Spoiler for episode 3:
Spoiler for episode 4:

So, they're ruining it right away? That would just be the last nail in the coffin for the anime as far as I'm concerned. It makes no sense to me how they could move what should have been in the first episode to the third. How reliable are these spoilers? I've never seen anime spoilers before.

Maybe they want to avoid ever having to do such a long stretch of fillers again. I doubt it'll bother me too much, though. With the exception of Konohamaru, I couldn't tell you what else the anime team has interspersed within manga-based episodes.

Actually, it's only about the first 3 episodes. (if you consider the one hour special as one episode)
Spoilers for the first 2 episodes should be merged. Apparently, there are two teams working on the one hour special though, and a korean studio will do the latter half. |

Episode 2 ends with the bell test being started. It's not actually as bad as you were making me think. Plus when you say "animated by Koreans" it doesn't actually mean everything is done by them.
Showing all the Konoha kids as they are now is actually a good thing, gets people a bit more interested in the characters who've waited so long for this. And don't say, "They could've put in Kakashi Gaiden instead" cause it wouldn't have worked as the first episode like this as well as you think. |

Is there anything among the fillers that is actually worth seeing? I do remember liking a couple of things before I stopped watching, such as seeing Hinata in action in the bug arc (which was still silly overall unfortunately).
Also, is everything beyond episode 135 100% filler or have there been bits out of the manga integrated into the anime somewhere? |

There is a little manga material during the fillers, but if you watched the bug arc, you should have watched them already.
Sakura showing progress as a medial ninja and being praised by Tsunade, Shino whining because he was left out of the Sasuke retrieval mission, Neji training with Hinata at Hinata place were shown between the Orochimaru lair filler arc and the bug arc, I think. Those of you who never watched any fillers missed it. Nothing in the filler really stands out, but there are acceptable episodes the Bounty Hunter arc (episode 159-160), with Kiba and Hinata Bird Country Arc (episodes 162-167) with Lee, Tenten and Neji Sea Country Arc (episode 169-173) with Anko (including Orochimaru flashbacks ruining the characters for Kishimoto), Ino and Shino. Treasure Hunt Arc (175-176) with Kiba and Hinata again my episode guide doesn't go further, and I don't remember much what happens after There is the Lee Dojo episode with Afro Gai around 196 I think. The last filler arc started very well, but the end sucked. The last filler opening is so good the episodes are worth downloading anyways. (best Naruto opening for me) |
