It's not 125 pages, it's 175. It's even shorter than Volume 8, which was the shortest volume to date. I believe this would be about 220 pages.

揚力元の鋼鉄製バルーンを少しずつ破壊していく神裂だが、謎の鋼鉄製の円
柱みたいな奴に襲われる。
こいつは魔術礼装的な物ではなく自らを改造した魔術師自身で、雷神トール
のミョルニルを模した
電撃系の魔術を使うために『投擲の槌』と呼称される。
『投擲の槌』は全長20㎞もあるラジオゾンデ要塞の3分の1を吹き飛ばすほど
の強力な術で
神裂を苦しめるが、飛行しないと意味のない魔術な為、魔術師自身と看破し
た神裂に
ペテロの術式で叩き落され敗北。
しかしラジオゾンデ要塞の真の狙いは上条の探索であり、上条の現在地であ
る学園都市に
落とされそうになる。これを回避するには学園都市に設置された探知機を破

Lots of people at Touma's house. Sounds like a huge party. At first it was only Touma and Index but Touma kept bringing girls home. Confirmed characters at his house:

Touma, Accelerator, Hamazura, Bardway, Index, Catgirl, Kumokawa Seria, Kumokawa Maria (probably Seria's sister, is a classmate of Maika's and gets top grades), Maika, Komoe, Fremea, Awaki, Kazakiri, Sphinx, Fukiyose and Himegami.

Apparently, the members of ITEM went looking for Hamazura which eventually led them to Touma's house. That's where Mugino meets Accelerator and Takitsubo gets jealous because Fremea is sitting on Hamzara's lap. Accelerator sees Tsuchimikado when he goes out to the balcony. The book is centered around Touma, Hamazura, Accelerator and Kanzaki. At Touma's house, they Bardway does most of the explaining about 'them' and Crowley's plan. Apparently 'they' are called 'Gremlin' and are planning to crash some fortress into Academy City. Bardway also mentions that Aleister is rushing his plans. Even though he allows room for errors, there may be too much this time. Hamazura got slapped by Bardway because he looked like he was sleeping during her explanations. also apparently LO and Worst are also at Touma's

Anyway, some spoilers:

Spoiler for Hehehe:

- It was Hamazawa who suggested that Touma go apologizing using the "drunken salaryman" tactics. And yes, Touma actually drank.
- The harems attempt to invade Touma's dorm, but were persuaded not to by Birdway's underlings (by words, of course). The scene of the three guys are at Touma's dorm.
- The picture of Mugino is more of a scene for when the trio and Birdway were discussing the Dark Side.
- The Fortress (Can't find the English version of the name) is used to find Touma.
- The mothers of Touma and Mikoto make their appearances.
- That blast-like picture is of Kanzaki being launched by rocket to take care of the Fortress (WTF?!?!?!)

There are a bit more, but I'll just end with this:

Mikoto grabbed the hand of that guy. Surely grabbed the hands of one who was trying to go away. The voice of Mikoto reaches the ears of the stopped Kamijou.

"But, this time you're not alone."

Cue the sounds of applause and anguish from the Kamikoto Faction.

There are gremlins that are fairies which cause malfunctions in machines. Those are "them". The gremlins are controlling Radiosonde Castle which is a device to search for Touma.
Radiosonde Castle is about to fall on AC, so Touma, Shiage, and Accel take action.
Kanzaki says says she doesn't know whether the castle is science or magic.

Overall flow of events: Radiosonde Castle appears -> Explanation of why World War 3 happened -> Radiosonde Caslte in danger of falling on AC -> Avoid that -> Gremlins -> to a new fight
In afterword: Mikoto is finally joining in the fight. I just hadn't put her in the fight up to now.

Worst and LO are barely in the novel.
Index explains magic and then disappears until a quick appearence in the end.

Itsuwa does not have Shichiten Shichitou.
Index likely just stays in the room.
Birdway only talks.
At the end, Aleister provokes her and chops of 2 or 3 of her hairs. [I think that's what it means.]

Birdway says he has a plan but errors in it are exceeding the acceptable limit.

The first half is Birdway explaining magic to the three protagonists in Kamijou's dorm.
It seems like a review.
Partway through, many characters appear and the intertwining is fresh and interesting. Kuroyoru is confined in the bathroom.
Meanwhile, Necessarius is dealing with a mysterious large construction, Radiosonde Castle, that has appeared in the atmosphere.
Kanzaki is launched into space on a rocket. In order to safely land Radiosonde Castle in the ocean, the steel balloons providing its lift have to be destroyed bit by bit, but Kanzaki is attacked by something like a mysterious steel column.
It is not a magical spiritual item. It is a throwing hammer that allows the use of electrical magic that imitates Thor's Mjölnir and is an alteration of the magician himself.
The throwing hammer has the power to blow away a third of the 20 km Radiosonde Castle and Kanzaki has trouble, but she realizes that the spell is useless if the magician can't fly, so Kanzaki uses Peter's Spell to send him down to his defeat.
Radiosonde's true aim is to find Touma and drop it on top of AC where Touma is. To avoid that, the detector set up in AC has to be destroyed.
The three protagonists work together and destroy it and Radiosonde Castle safely passes by AC and lands in the ocean.
The cause of the incident and the current enemy aka "them" are named "Gremlin".
It seems the next incident will occur in Hawaii. This time, it seems Mikoto will join in.
