Wait, is the map indicator part of the vanilla game now? I thought it was a mod.

Oddly enough, my most-played games in the pasty few days were 9 and 6. Last night though was mostly 6s, and we helped unlock CypherHK's alternative tier 6 to the obviously horribad Chi-To... Unfortunately he chose the Vk 3601H. ^^;

Oh, and apparently I broke the past the true 56% mark. Go me.

I have found the Tier 7 KV-3 to be surprisingly productive in terms of silver for a non-premium account.

Finally was able to mount a rammer, optics, and v.stabilizer on the Leo 1. All is missing is a crew. The plan is to move the PTA crew to it eventually, but not until I get a 54% on the PTA... or something green.

Otherwise just putzing around, and using what my platoonmates require. My goal is to get the tier 10 Object eventually, but that's still many games and many experience points away on the T-54.

The problem with mods is that it's hard to draw the line. Even XVM gives a huge advantage; being able to see which tank is driving where on your minimap without having to actually look around is already a big advantage, but seeing the same for enemies makes a big difference, and having it remember enemy positions gives a pretty large advantage compared to completely vanilla WoT. Everybody uses it, but it's still a bunch of advantages not provided by the base game.

Had a Confrontation Battle in my SU12244, took on 2 Waffentraegers and a Tiger II head-on. In the end they were all dead and I had 40 hp left.

My WR over the past four days bounced up over 55.6%, a 66% in the last 80 games; over the last day it's 76% in 17 games.

Waiting for the inevitable horribleness to happen.

I'm having a satisfactory time in the T25/2; at the very least, I don't feel like it's underperforming when I'm getting plenty of damage in while using regular AP and only having 10 APCR for emergencies.

WG posts list of currently banned mods:

http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index....modifications/

So it's somewhat less vague than before, though as you can see in the thread people are still asking about particular mods and whatnot.

Meanwhile... I dropped to 59.5% WR for the day's session, entirely because after the previous post I proceeded to try to finish researching the Chi-Ri and the SU-14, only one of which I actually plan on using. That made a mess of things, though mostly due to the extremely fickle nature of using the S-51; the Chi-To's WR finalized at 54% over 70 games.

Also I beat up on some low-tiers.

While it's going to be a while before I get an Object (looks like it's going to fit my medium play more than the T-62A), I'm concerned with the fact that I'm going to be lacking a crew for the T-54, which I do like to play. I have a crew right now in the T-34 that's at 98% in their first skill, but I'm leaving off grinding until I can get more wins under my belt, at least enough to not slip back under true 56%.

Definitely thinking of dumping the PTA when I get its score up to a respectible (read more green) level, then transfering the crew over to the Leo 1. That way I can play pure tier 10s now, so yay?

From looking at the Missions and Events window in-game:

The next On-Track is to the IS-4.

The weekend missions include 25 wins at Tier 8 for 350000, kill two Tier 8 vehicles and survive (while driving anything) for 50000, get a Top Gun for 1.2x XP (tier 4 and up), and 3x crew experience for the weekend.

See my win rate?

Pffffffft downward. It's really hard to get a good tier X game, even with WhiskeyJack helping. Then again it's likely also due to the fact that I'm still getting used to the Leo 1.

But man, 8 games down. -.4%

With the Chi-Ri unlocked, I'm debating keeping the Chi-To for completeness or selling it to finance the Chi-Ri[1]. The ROF and pen are nice, but it has the mobility and armor characteristics of a Hellcat with engine damage. The 54% WR with it that I have so far is slightly above the global average, and I could probably make it better, but it's far from a primary goal.

[1] Though I'm not really hurting for silver. The simplest option would be to just leave it in the garage while stripping it of equipment and crew.

M103 Ace Tanker! I'm especially happy that I got this since I told myself that I wouldn't play the T110E5 until I got Ace on this tank.
