Hi!

I'm a brand new member with litterally no experiences with anime whatsoever. What I wonder is if there are any series similar to Naruto and Hunter X hunter out there really worth checking out?

I really like Azumanga Daioh

, but I prefer the Action-fantasy-adventure stuff. If anyone out there know what I mean, this thread could be about which series you would recommend to someone unfamiliar with anime

Try One Piece. It has lots of action and fighting with interesting powers. The humor is hilarious and frequent. The characters are a lot of fun. Quite simply it is just a really fun romp. I'm sure that is what you're looking for.

I one hundred percent agree with NoSanninWa. One Piece is a very good anime that can't be over looked.

quite a lot of people think that Flame of Recca is a good match.

i also personally think you should check out Scryed

Both good shows, but as a new anime fan I think he was hoping to download something, while these licensed shows should be bought on DVD.

mm, good point. hadn't caught the need for unlicensed thing.

scryed is fantastic to buy, though! ^_^

I have to recommend FullMetal Alchemist - it's a fantastic series if you like action/adventure with a touch of morality and depth to it.
