12 eps only? Aw, I thought they might try and go for the manga story which is realllly good but I guess they didn't want it to overlap. I guess one of the characters being in the first cast list was a giveaway though.
Really need to finish vol 2 of the manga... |

For anyone interested, the official Rideback site has updated big time with tons of info. It has some new characters (some mentioned in the manga but not shown) and some from the manga so I have a feeling the show may take parts of the manga and integrate into the storyline.

Another new PV.
Looking good. I'm actually surprised the 3D CGI isn't looking like crap since it's what we usually get on anime these days. Also, anyone noticed the engrish bit? I cracked up. THE LEGEND BEGIN NOW.

Promotional video from this year's Tokyo Anime Fair on the official website (after the second commercial ends in the linked website, select the "Movie" button at the bottom, and then select the "TAF2008-PV" button.)

I believe the anime will be doing its own thing based on the manga's storyline, so it won't be a 1 to 1 transition. I've read the 9 volumes of the manga that are out and they've already shown stuff in the anime that isn't in the manga.
