It's up to episode 3 now, and this show has been the most enjoyable anime so far this season, at least for me.

Too bad apparantly absolutely NO ONE's watching it outside of Japan.

I'm watching it... not understanding much more than the basic gist of the plots, but I am enjoying it.

Yeah, it's a shame no one's fansubbing it.

Looks like that's changed. A fansub of the first episode just showed up.

Also, I will say I find the OP theme incredibly catchy.

It's pretty much about this "evil" organization led by General Vamp, that is striving for world domination, but before they start their pathetic attempts at it, they need to defeat some "hero" astro fighter sunred. (who is just some guy with a red mask that basically mooches off his girlfriend)

Holy crap! Now WHY the hell was this subtitled only NOW?? It's so stupid and outrageous but it's friggin' HILARIOUS!!

It's like they took everything we know about "masked" warrior / sentai-type shows, shook them up, and ran them through a blender!

The "evil" organization's attempts at world domination are outshined by their MORE PATHETIC attempts at trying to "get rid" of Sunred! And if I were a super-powerful, "hope-of-the-world" hero, I'd be likewise PISSED at how these damn villains go about their "task". Can't they see that heroes have LIVES as well??

Damn, I'm sold on this anime...hope ANBU continues and finishes this one!

Oh wow. Never noticed this thread. I've been following this quite religiously over at nicovids before recently taking up downloading the raws. Just watched Fight #6 the other day. It's fabulous. I wasn't even aware it's being subbed.

*checks* Oh, 7's up, too. w00t!

Episode two's subs just appeared - the best moment had to be Mosqui finding Sunred's porn stash.

Nice to see subs finally coming out. This is quickly becoming my favorite show this season.

Pretty funny show in pretty subdued ways. Sorta like Cromartie High. Doesn't hurt that each skit is literally a short skit and not a whole episode. It really is like a traditional American cartoon in the old days. Very quirky. Will continue to follow.

PS- And man, the show keeps getting... Domestic? I love the Tarako Spaghetti idea. lol. So practical.

The video from "Mr. X" in episode 3 has to be one of the most pathetic attempts at a ransom video I've ever seen.

Ep 1

Funny that Sunred is almost like bullying the villians.

Well they are bothering him minding his own business I'd be mad too if the food I was going to eat was wasted too.

Lol at the parody of Yoshi Noya beef restaurant.

This series is way more funny if you're familiar with japanese tokusatsu shows, mainly the older ones from the 70/80's.

Oh yeah. I watched quite a bit of them before. It's just surreal seeing how loser-like the evil organization is in the face of unbeatable justice.

Also everyone acting like college-age losers helps the comedy.

Just watching this show, and i get flashbacks to all the tokusatsu shows i've seen --- especially while i was a kid, and it makes watching Tentai Senshi Sunred awesome to watch.

Just gotta love how serious the OP makes it out to be. Such a tokusatsu opening.

You've gotta wish all toku heroes were as awesome as Sunred When was the last time you see the protagonist giving his enemies disciplinary lectures and ordering them around like slaves? Freaking classic!
