It was nice seeing some new info mainly about Hitomi.
Actually, it explained a whole lot about his current way of thinking. So much killing, so much death... Seeing all that, it no wonder Heike joined his side. Hitomi was like everyone's big brother, it was nice ^^ Guess he just wants to save them all from doing what they do.

Actually, i am not even remotely a fan of the manga past the first few chapters. I agree that overall the anime is a much better product than the manga ever will be, but it not without its faults. Off the top of my head, a cast of characters much too large for a 12-13 episode anime and the resulting butchery of their characters and development (Prince is the main target here). And of course, the annoyance level of Sakura, which went off the hook and through the roof.

After watching the 11th episode I have to wonder what the intent was for all of these changes from the manga. Basically Hitomi and the puppy now have the most character depth and every other main character is a shell compared to their manga counterpart. I find that hilarious but still these changes just feel weird. I thought the changes early on in the series definitely sped up the pacing of the plot (a good thing) but this expanded back story for Hitomi and now this bomb hunt situation feels totally dragged out. Given the huge amount of source material to work with and their willingness to be liberal with it, I don't really understand why this adaptation just kinda feels average even after the changes.
Atleast the prince is now back so I don't have much else to complain about. |

Things are going out of control.
A lot has changed when compared to their younger days. Difference in power between Ogami and Hitomi was very obvious. Well, Hitomi's heart was in the right place, but his methods were wrong. Toki vs Heike. That was a pretty cool fight. Very interesting episode.

ironically if you pay attention hitomi didn't really have an unpredictable 180 the entire of episode 9 was basically the reason why hitomi went rogue as for
development there is development but it wont be shown unless they make a 2nd season which they've made it hard to do |

Watched the two last episodes (was surprised to see both 12 and 13). They continued the anime original route but was surprised to see things for a possible 2nd season
Spoiler for 12&13, 13 mainly:
Heike was the one who entertained me the most, he's the best character of the series so it isn't strange. I'll just give the anime a 5 because I really didn't care about Hitomi and wasn't happy with the way they handled certain characters but the last 2 episodes were good.

It's already over. Episodes 12 and 13 aired together and episode 13 did conclude things, despite introducing a character from the manga (I realized that Kouji was also there but hardly visible)
Well a couple of especial episodes are going to be released with the manga, this is a scan with preview images for it (lol for the adaptation of the Valentine omake)
