Facts that I know about the last-decade of Showa:
1. Anime reached its "Golden Age" during the 80's
2. Japan experienced the "Bubble" economy.
3. Japanese kids during the 80's were prone to play outdoors and on open fields.

But this is useless information that has no relation at all to Hayate no Gotoku's episode 46.

Facts quite more or less real in life:
1. Otakus lack the sophisticated knowledge about youth, since only occupy their minds with anime and manga all the time.

2. There will never be enough fanservice for Isumi.

3. Female managers that often die in frustration for not confessing their feelings to their senpai often remain in Earth as spirits with grudges.

4. The path to manhood comes frequently with hardships and deceptions, but you have nothing to fear of as long as your maid (whose several years older than you) stands by your side.

5. For dramatic effects whenever you want to remark something cool in your speech try to hyper-extend your arm to ridiculous lengths.

Thirded. Even though I recognize the episode quality hasn't exactly been constantly top notch lately, I can't believe I won't have my weekly Hayate fix in a month or so.
Curiously I'm more melancholic when I see the ED, for they made 4 wonderful themes, and it saddens me I won't be seeing a fifth soon.

it is going to be a long painful wait for Hayate fans after March 30 (last episode, IIRC [RADICAL DREAMERS]). Hopefully shortly after that we get a 2nd season announcement. *crosses fingers*

Lol, what an odd episode. Though the gate moment sounded a lot to me like another TTGL reference, but then again everything does. (it was the smashing down walls bit, sounded just like Kamina's speech, but it could be another reference altogether. However, there have been a lot of TTGL references lately, so I can't rule out the possibility)
