That, or maybe he just took the time to learn her name. The real puzzler is his reaction to Natsu.

I wonder if Hiro's trying to mislead us for all the times we've successfully guessed familial relations. It was obvious from the getgo that Angel was Yukino's sister (then again, it was pretty blatant), and I could deduce from Kagura's hairstyle, vendetta against Jellal, relationship with Millianna, and the fact that Simon was brought up a few times several chapters earlier that she was Simon's sister (as for the hair, Simon's real face looked really different in the manga; in the anime he looks more...normal).

Right now it's already been made more than obvious that Silver and Gray are connected. This chapter definitely suggests that Silver's relationship with Gray may be more complicated than just father and son. However, to say they're one and the same has some contradictions. Most clearly is the facial scar: Gray's is narrower and points inward towards the middle of his forehead, while Silver's is thicker and points outward down his temple. That and the fact that Natsu says they have the same scent doesn't guarantee they're the same guy; blood relatives or something of that sort could easily be considered to have the same scent.

Then again, the idea that Gray = Silver could present some interesting story developments, such as how and why Silver can exist in the first place. Maybe he was the same Gray from the alternate timeline who was killed, resurrected as a demon because Juvia turned to darker forces. Or maybe...eh, that's all I got. But it sure would be a good way to make sense of things. But let's face it, does Hiro really want to make things more complex than what the Grand Magic Games arc became?

For me, I speculate that Gray is some sort of 'offspring' from Silver. Either he sired him and left, leaving Gray to a family for him to take care of for some weird reason... or, he was Ur's husband and, thanks to Gray, his wife is now dead. If one uses that angle, Silver's 'resentment' of Gray's name could be seen as a guy still bitter over the death of his woman, regardless of whether he was around for it or not. And to top it off, his actual daughter aged herself up to save Gray yet again. ... one could be pissed about that very much.

As for Silver calling Lisanna a 'princess', that's just a nickname he gave her. I mean, he's easily the most personable and affable of the Tartarus guys - it fits with his character that he won't be mean to women if he doesn't have to be. Being needlessly cruel to women isn't cool in the slightest.

Yeah, and there's the totally different facial scars, as I mentioned. Unless he somehow lost his old scar in the demonification process and got a new one. So...meh.

I hope Hiro doesn't do any more time-travel. It gets too messy with multiple loose ends that need tying. I also hope he gets to the point with whatever he's trying to do with Jellal. So far this fight was like another excuse to punish himself over his past, and I had hoped that we already moved past that.

I'm guessing that Cana blasted Elfman because she can see through his behaviour. It was very unlike Elfman to not fight until he drops; very un-manly. Not to mention he came back without any injuries. Actually, the rest of FT are pretty dumbed down to not notice that something's going on, especially Makarov.

It's hinted widely enough that Natsu and the DS who were taught by dragons are likely from far in the past. My guess Silver, being a demon, was alive back then and knew Natsu from that time. While in the more present time her fathered Gray.

It's also possible that Silver knows Natsu through Natsu's connection to Zeref.
