Haha...I thought that's what you meant...but wasn't sure...now it makes sense after being utterly confused for a moment.

So...since Shikamaru was Chuunin in the pre-time skip, does that exclude him?
If not...I would vouch for him since, despite being somewhat of an underdog, he's an incredible genius, the first to make it to Chuunin and he's obviously a leader, albeit a reluctant one.

Well, I say yes .. He already showed maturity far higher then his current batch .. only his attitude problem. *IF* he remove his attitude problem, his a scary opponent instead.. as well as a valuable ally...

Heck, I must say he's a better 6th Hokage if without the attitude problem.

But atitude problem is kinda hard to remedy and needs strong push >.<

It's a bit offtopic but do you know that people like me rather look at your signature then your posts especially the Kina that only comes every few seconds For a grahpic designer your pretty good

I just wonder actually...Konoha has so many good fighters....but who is gonna surpass or take Gaara's place if he retires? Or gets KIA?

I like Shikamaru's attitude problem though. He'd be pretty bland and uninteresting without it IMO. I don't think his attitude will ever change, but he can put it aside when he needs to.

I'm also looking forward to seeing how Chouji has developed.

Hah about Shikamaru....i think that if Temari for example said...i'll do anything for you if you become a jounin in the next month...he'll probably become a jounin within a week ...

If his dad teaches him more moves....and Shika tries to learn a thing such as Kage Bunshin...well then i think he'll be the best shinobi.

If each of his clones start to think (with at an IQ level above 200!) about a strategy then i doubt he'll fail. He may have predicted anything that's possible or even impossible included things.

As for Chouji...i think when he was in his butterfly form...he was the most powerfull character (of all genins) his punching was probably just as heavy as Tsunade's hits. But then again if he is skinny his techniques probably dont work too well.

I dont think Shika need his clone to think.. He alone is enough .. and with clones, he got his personal army ..

He still denies his relation with Temari, but for a lazy guy to wake up to accompany a girl on a way home early morning before anyone woke up, that pretty said everything..

My heart still bent on Neji tho, he was accepted by Hinata's father to train along, he definitely gonna polish his mad skills @_@

Regarding Gaara, if he dies.. say buhbye to both Temari and Kannkurou. Sand would be too weak to enter the story again =/

That's why Naruto should actually marry Temari...they will have probably an alliance forever if that happens

But then again...Sandaime was also rather friendly against the Kazekage (he thought it would be (4th) perhaps both were good friends..)

Gaara won't die! At least not until the end of the series, I don't think any of the 9 rookies will die.
And even if Gaara did die, Kankurou and Temari's awesomeness would just have to compensate to become even more awesome (it already bothers me that I know that I won't be seeing Kankurou again for an unknown amount of time after this arc is through).
