Personally, if it's consensual, I don't give a shit if a 90 year old man bangs a 13 year old. I won't do it, and you couldn't fucking pay me to do it, but if it's all consensual on both sides, then I couldn't care less. Just don't tell me about it. Rape, however, is what I hate more than any other crime. I hear about a murder in the news and I think "eh, world sucks," but I hear about rape and I can't help but grit my teeth and want to give them belt in the mouth.

^except the law (it didn't work in this case, sadly). they're not the only people in the world, and since they live in civilization, the very least they could do is follow proper decorum.
they love each other, so fucking what? if two people agree to kill themselves, it's still wrong. other people are affected, society is affected, all because they did something that they agreed to do. |

Italy is the most corrupt and felted country in the E.U. I'd almost say "Europe", but there is Russia... prime minister Romano Prodi got ousted a few weeks ago, after his instable coalition failed. Now it looks like Silvio Berlusconi (owns pretty much of the Italin non-public media) and his centre-right alliance are going to win the upcoming reelection. I just have no hope in this country anymore .

that's when 'common sense' comes into play. |

That was rhetorical, so don't bother answering it. EDIT: What exactly is common sense saying in this case, Prov? Common sense and morals are two entirely different things. |

mm, i always hate elaborating, but anyhoo... one aspect of common sense is (at least to me) proper behavior among other people. for example, you can't smoke in front of cancer patients because it will worser their condition. i won't curse in front of my parents and younger relatives because i don't want them to learn a bad example. anyway, unless they live underground, chances are that there are people around them. these people follow laws, and they have to uphold it because they live among them.
i mean, if everyone did what they desired the world would sink into anarchy, without the law to provide the ground rules of society. hell, if they were so in love with each other they should have at least waited, though that idea is flawed as well. |

let me rephrase then. instead of common sense let me say personal opinion, quite different from your personal opinion but an opinion that has as much reason as yours.
