Takuto Kira, the boy in my signature/avie.

He's my favorite anime character too. I'm totally obsessed with him <3

That covers anime and manga....so if Air counts as a visual novel, I'd have to say Yukito Kunisaki.

While not a problem of his personality, it most certainly is the biggest flaw in his role. The things he could have done if he had the motivation. So yeah, I'm more of a Empire fan myself.

And I also love the GAR leads: Kenshiro, Harlock, Cobra and Guts. Varying from mostly stoic, archetypical hero types like Harlock to the more brazen Cobra. Also the "nice-guy badasses" like Guy from GaoGaiGar, Simon/Kamina from TTGL, Goku to some extent... but they seem to be a somewhat rare breed.

Then I appreciate the skilled, intelligent types too like Tenma from Monster and Hiraga Keaton Taichi from Master Keaton. I'm not so big on outright geniuses but these guys were more down to earth and I felt they're something to look up to in their own way.

Finally, there are the enigmatic types like the medicine seller from Mononoke and Ginko from Mushishi. In a way, I find them to be close to the badass types, where they let their actions speak for who they are instead of words.

I honestly like the character in an "enjoyably detestable" kind of way.

@ LoGH leads.

I am more of a FPA crew guy. The Wen-Li, then Julian, group always had this family-like chemistry about them I absolutely loved; it's just that their side was doomed because of the guys in charge, and Wen-Li understandably refused to take on a political career. I too would when I see the hackjobs we have running in the government.

Allen Walker from D.gray man: after suffering a lot ,no matter what happens ,he has this mentality of moving and always keep walking forward in life . that is what i like about him

Lelouch vi Britannia from Code Geass: he is smart, intelligent, a total mastermind. he is the only character who's vision of creating a better world is accomplished, and he is a protagonist who doesn't hesitate to kill

Tomoya Okazaki from Clannad: he is the only character who i have seen faces real life problems(family problems,study,etc) and through all this finds a good life.he is also very caring and a very nice person

and all the three of them are very very cool
