Just finished episode 05…

The beginning was more heart-warming than usual, but the situations in the second half were very confusing/unexpected with both Ai-chan and Hiromi taking the spotlight. Noe, on the other hand, is still the wacky one of the show, as opposed to her brother who is more willing to force a great misunderstanding on Shin’s part. The second conversation between Shin and Hiromi grabbed my attention. Her personality seemed out of place with the way she was reacting to his words, though it might be a misconception from my part since I did not completely understand it—the text message and her thoughts in particular. The greatest surprise of the show has to be Ai-chan. She finally started to take action with something that was quite unexpected from her (and what a cliffhanger). A great episode nonetheless with more intriguing clues/hints than anything else and a perfect setup for what it’s coming next.

The scene at the beach was really beautiful. The combination of warming colors, the sky and the clouds, the movement of the waves, and the background music all worked very well to instill the importance of what little time they were spending together.

The preview seems to indicate great drama for the upcoming episode. Nazuka Kaori’s voice was really wonderful saying that line. I’m very impatient now…

Wonderful episode...at least it makes me feel better after knowing what exactly had happen between Shinichiro and Hiromi.Hiromi surely looks more energetic in this episode,looking more lively and happy,as if she had finally found what she really wanted.But there're always someone inside the house that doesn't seem to be happy with her,especially when it concerned about Shinichiro.Seems like Hiromi too doesn't look happy with what Shin's mum told her to stay away from Shinichiro.But from the way Hiromi replying back to Shin's mum,at least we can confirmed that she too had feelings for Shinichiro.

The beach part surely amazing...with Hiromi tying her scarf gently onto Shin's neck...that was one of the most romantic scene so far in True Tears.Nothing can match the superb environment on that beach that time,the sound of the sea waves,the sound of birds on the sky,and Hiromi's luxurious smile when she tying the scarf gently.She surely attract my heart with her gentle and kind smile.

As for the part where Hiromi invited Shinichiro into her room,that really was romantic,probably even better if only Shinichiro doesn't act like dumb during the conversation.He really spoiled the beautiful mood inside the room,with Hiromi staring at him with that sexy shining eyes.Damn...Shinichiro still thinking that Hiromi has feeling for Jun,although it seems like Hiromi was hoping for Shinichiro to say something else,something that she really wish to hear from his mouth.

And the Hiromi's view of Shinichiro entering her room was definitely superb,and her reaction when Shinichiro knocking her room's door is just what i'd expected.After feeling down for not having the chance anymore to walk/be together with Shinichiro,she probably thinks that there's no way for Shinichiro to realize her feelings for him,and act by himself to confess it in front of her.But when Shinichiro knocking her room's door and stating out that he got something to tell her,she was purely shock..something that she never thought would happen happens in front of her eyes.It was Shinichiro on his own act standing outside her room..

But the outcome was something that she never want to happen i guess...

Ahhh because Shinichiro is such a typical guy that can be found in most school romance anime nowadays,that makes every situation that can be solved with a straightforward heart confession becomes more complicated.I really feel like wanna bang my head on the wall when Shin starting out the conversation by mentioning Jun's name in front of her.If it only were me,i would straightly jump to her and hug her and say it straight out loud about my feelings for her.

Ah forget about the "me" part =p

As for Noe,as usual,she sure looks abit different today.Her cheerful and energetic mood was toned down abit,and she looks more serious in this episode,especially in the beginning part.She looks even cuter and adorable with that side of her...and the part where she actually lick Shin's cheek...damn..i wish it was me that she's licking. T.T

As for Ai and Shin....i guess that's that.Ai sure is brave enough to stop Shin from opening the door...as if she is looking for more trouble.




Damn what's with Jun's hand on Hiromi's cheek on the preview...damn.I'm so envious with so many things in this episode.But also,i feel abit happy with how things were between Hiromi and Shin.Expect more outcome in the next episode hopefully.

Interesting episode. Shin is rather stupid or afraid of getting his hopes up to be let down again. Hiromi is giving him so many hints. Hiromi was rather hurt/upset when Shin came into her room just to mention about #4.

Look at how much Hiromi and Jun have interacted....HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW HERE NAME!!!

Ai is finally on the attack...uh huh. Shin is in for a world of chaos with both emotions and friendships.

Looks like things really heat up the next episode. Misunderstandings occur. Hiromi reaches her limit and snaps. I have a feeling Shin already knew about what was going on between Hiromi and his mom before her heard them talking in this episode, maybe that's why he dislikes his mom so much.

Shin is doing the same thing he is with Hiromi and he did with Ai, forcing an unwanted relationship upon them when they really liked him.

I think Jun is going to start hitting on Hiromi to maybe distance Hiromi and Shin, so that Shin will go out with Noe. He seems like a good brother but has a malice side as well....

SOMEONE stab Shin's mom with a SPOON for me. Yes a spoon! Next episode should be really good, can't wait!

The way the episode ended was dramatic in sort of a down to earth way. Which was kind of nice. Yeah it looks like things will be quite interesting in terms of episode 06.

Shin was pretty much hurt at the end of episode 3 when he overheard Hiromi tell her friend she liked number 4, he was even more hurt when she kept on going in the start of episode 4 about him, so even if she is dropping hints...she already digged a hole for herself...shin is under the impression she fancies number 4 so I don't blame him for his action in episode 5

Hiromi seems to be disturbed by something, can't figure it out just yet.
Must be something more to the mother relationship then just rivalry.

Aiko was intresting this episode as well.
Out of all the characters she seems to be walking on fire at the moment.
Revelations coming soon... I hope.

Might the statement be about Aiko? Maybe she confesses and that's his response. I'm just basing things on what's happened previously in the first 5 episodes. It would make sense if the pattern of the first 5 episode titles hold true for for at least one more episode (Noe-Hiromi-Aiko-Noe-Hiromi-Aiko) and the episode 6 title is Aiko centric because that is Shinichiro's response to finding out her feelings. Otherwise Aiko gets the short end of the stick with only episode 3 because Noe has episode titles 1 and 4 while Hiromi has episodes 2 and 5.

If someone was to tell Shinichiro that he and Hiromi are related I think his mother would be the likely one instead of Hiromi. Even then I would have doubts of it being true because I think Shin's mother seems like the spiteful type.

When Shin was in Hiromi's room she looked disappointed in what he had to say. She was surprised when he knocked on her door and maybe it's just me but she had a hopeful look on her face as she listened to Shin. I think she was hoping he would say what she is afraid to say and make a confession. It looked like she was taking matters in her own hands when she waited for him after school and later put her own scarf on him but Shin's mother once again meddles. It also looks like her friend Tomoyo misunderstands what's going when she sees Noe sitting with Hiromi because she now seems to believe Hiromi's lie about liking #4 (Jun).

Episode 6 previews are exciting. Not sure if I might cross the line by posting my thoughts here so I'm heading over to the spoilers and speculations thread.

Well, this is the first episode I rate a perfect . the view from both side perspective was a masterpiece. Aiko cliffhanger was awesome, if there were still any doubters about who she loves, you will become a believer. Now I am beginning to pity Nobuse...just a little, muahahaha. I don't think Aiko will end with Shin, but Nobuse will not end with Aiko either. She is too awesome to stay in a pity relationship.

Actually now that I think about it, should could be using Shin as a measuring tool for whatever she is making for her "boyfriend". She seemed more intimate with him in this episode than the rest, her "boyfriend" that is, but that last scene with Shin makes you wonder...

EDIT: Nevermind, I think I get what's going on now. There's only one person it could refer to that would explain Hiromi's reaction in her room.

For me, it is pretty obvious that she is making it for shin though some can argue the opposite. It is strange though - if she didn't "like" nobu then why did she agree to make him one in the first place. Maybe that was her initial intention which changed to shin after measuring him

It is obvious for me that she will either make two or just one and will give it to shin.

well, she agreed with Nobuse to knit it for him. Obviously he need a sweater and get rid himself of that Sweatshirt. It is damn embarrasing wearing that EVERYDAY. I really don't know what is inside Aiko's head. Until we actually find how she ended with Nobuse we are completely in the dark about the situation. Only thing we are certain of is that she likes both Nobuse and Shin, but she is just in love with Shin.

Next episode seems to be much more centric for Aiko
I hope we get some info in regards of how poor Aiko ended that way.

This episode is the best. The beach scene is really good. The music fits perfectly. However, the most important part is that Hiromi is beautiful. I want to be Shin. She is too good for him. T_T The part where she talked about Noe and stop. I think because she remember her lie about liking #4. Damn...If she hadn't lie there would be more sweet scene.

I think Noe might develop some feeling for Shin, other than seeing him as a replacement for raigoumaru. When she saw Shin and Hiromi went home together (eventhough, he said that he can't going home with her), she was shock. I think she was jealous.

Shinichirou is a damn idiot. Going in a girl room to talk about other boys. You hurt her. She was really angry at Shin. Poor Hiromi for liking some idiot like Shin. But she shouldn't lie about person she likes. I love how they show different point of view but we didn't gain anything much.

In preview, Jun said something interesting. I think he said something like "Liking something but can't have it is painful" (Not sure. Can some one translate this line?). I think it is pretty sure that he like Noe hwoever they are sibling. And Noe seem like she doesn't like Jun that way.

Her reaction to that is going to be interesting. Also one gets the feeling from Noe that eventually her seemingly rosy situation will develop thorns. Episode 05 may in fact be the start of it. Yeah I know, I need a better analogy.

I'm kinda irritated by Shin's behaviour. At least ask before hooking up persons like that. However he did it with the best intentions and Hiromi's "Meddlesome guys look like stupid" is just the right label for him. But, while Shin definitely committed seppuku on proposing Jun to date Hiromi, I don't think it is the worst path for Hiromi and Shin at the moment.
Let's put it this way: a Shin x Hiromi pair can not form right now because there's a huge hurdle in their way: Shin's mother. If they should pair now, most likely she would kick Hiromi out of the house.

So I think it is better if the story takes alternative roads for the moment, while the so far biggest conflict of the show (Shin's mother - Hiromi's mother --> Hiromi) is resolved, or at the very least exploited.

It's been a while since the last time I had a harem show where I liked the 3 main girls almost equally. Well, I do admit I have a slight preference for Hiromi, but it's in the "100% liking (Hiromi) versus 99% (Noe) versus 99% (Ai)" range. The writers have really done an excellent work so far.

I am the same way, I like all the girls. in my case I got 90% Hiromi, 90% for Noe and 100% for Aiko. Aiko gets the 10% extra percent just because she needs to be rescued from Nobuse!

good episode, i particularly appreciated the sequence where you can see the same scene throu the 2 protagonist PoV.
Noe's reactions are still not clear to me weither she concider shin a potential romance partner or just a friend. i found her way to tell him she found out he lied to her and that she forgives him very subtle and nice.
aiko's actions are very similar to shin's she is unable to shake off nobuse and to clear the misunderstanding, she is digging herself just like shin is unable to express his toward hiromi and digging himself with the stupid bet with jun.

as for commiting sepuku when offering to hook up hiromi with jun i think my thought would need to go to the speculation boards

edit : might be going a bit too far. but isnt the sweater aiko bought the same as the one hiromi wears (when she gets scold by shin's mother and told she isnt to be by his side).
after this episode i highly doubt shin/hiromi are blood related, her attitude is more of a payback to the daughter of the woman that stole the guy she loved.
