Correction about Leina and Elina. Elina doesn't hate Leina or consider her a rival. She just has orders from their dad to bring Leina home, since the elder sister ran away from home, more or less. And two, Elina loves Leina a lot....probably a little too much...(as in, love her sister so much, she wants the two of them to strip each other and do the dirty in bed.)

I got the book with the accompanying Audio CD in it. The way she performs her character will be in the "Nogizaka Haruka" style of "Sweet Lady Next Door" rather than the "Sly (but still cute) seductress" that Asogi Rin (of Mnemosyne) had.

She met Listy once and they crossed swords with each other. The two share a difference of opinion, in regards to justice.

She lost her parents when she was a kid due to a war in the region and was found by a band of theives, who took her in.
The man she considered her father was killed by a rival and the band was destoryed, so she built a new band.
She entered Queen's Blade, in hope to win and become Queen. That way, she can rid the world of all vice.

Her goal in entering Queen's Blade, it was part of an order by her Queen, but she wants to fix it, so that there wil always be a need for assassinations as well.

Well-respected and admired by the masses, Tomoe fights, while avoiding vitals whenever she can with her special power.
She's in Queen's Blade, due to a vision from a Shinto priest who told her to travel and compete in the competition.

She's in Queen's Blade as a job that she was hired to by a client. She's considered the #1 seed but doesn't care about the idea of being a queen.

She's actually from an ancient kingdom that was betrayed and destroyed a thousand years before the story takes place.
She died in that time period but was risen from the dead by a being known as "The Marshland Witch". However, she left the witch after bickering, due to Menas' royal background and inability to serve under another because of that.
On her travels, Menas met a suspicious merchant who told her about the tournament.
Her fighting technique include an assassination hand-to-hand combat passed down in her lineage.
Her plan was to revive her lost nation by becoming Queen.

Her father and Earl of her house forbid she and her other sisters from participating in the Queen's Blade tournament due to their political differences to the current queen.
However with Leina running away from home and various failed attempts at bringing her back, Elina was given permission to and was ordered to capture and bring back Leina.

She was also a dead person who was revived to work for this witch. But this one serves without question.

She was sent to the tournament by the witch, as a mean to get a foothold to conquer the nations.

However, the only customers she accept are men. She hates Earth women and refuses to tend to them.
The truth is that Nanaelle is extremely full of herself and she is also a dunce who constantly causes trouble in her homeland and so she was banished to Earth by the higher ups.
Participating in the tournament is another part of her punishment and orders.

Though I see they have gotten rid of Nanael's milk bottle in the anime version.

What a relief; that joke REALLY wore thin quick even in the battle-books themselves.

Thank Goodness for display copies in Akihabara!! Made the mistake of not looking at the display copy before buying the ultra-unpleasant Nyx battle-book in Ikebukuro.

However, her tribe had laws opposing to such things but she refused to back down and still joined.

Leina and Elina's half sister, she's the oldest of the trio of siblings.
She's known as the Thunder Cloud general (due to her magic sword) and is one of the most noble individuals knwon to many.
Due to her mother being a commoner, she isn't allowed to become the next leader but serve more as a vassal at the borders of her family's grounds.
In regards to her half sisters, she hates Leina for what she did but she loves Elina greatly but has a tough time the latter feelings due to her bluntness.

Due to her body composition, she can go soft or hard, depending on the situation in combat.
Based on that composition of hers, she can even absorb any living creature around her to increase her strength.
