Man its sad, I came back to read ippo after I left it around takamuras world champion fight with blond dude (didn't read chapters between), just to remember how slow this manga can be.
I mean cmon unless ippo 1hit ko the dude after all of this power uping it will be worthless.
5 chapters of nothingness, dunno how ppl can enjoy it on weekly basis. Its like watching a trainwreck which should take 1 minute but is made into an hour movie.

I usually pretty patient with Ippo's pacing, but this last couple of chapters have been TERRIBLY slow.

Just taking the topic in another direction, I think Morikawa should cut Ippo's story short and do a flashback series about Date. That would be way more interesting.
