Help please :(

My penpal in Sweden brought me the entire series, ova's, and movies of Urusei Yatsura on disks that he had burned when he came to America. Only problem is I guess because they were burned over there in Sweden I can't get them to work on my computer or any game system. Does anyone know what I can do?

Sorry that I can't be in any help. maybe some type of converter will work. Gin's idea seems like it will work too but I don't know if they have the same electrical outlet in Sweden.

Most likely, but that can easily be remedied by buying a plug converter because the outlets in Sweden are the same as in the rest of Europe apart from the UK. You could also try going to an device mechanic and see if you can't get him to add all the regions to your current DVD player. I'm sure that's child's play because they've been doing it for ages. I'm sure you know that the US uses NTSC (region 1) players. You need PAL (region 2) version added to that.

This should be shifted to Tech Support.

1.Extract the files in ISO mode using Alcohol 120.
2. Download WINRAR, set it to be able to open ISO files.
3. Run the videos one by one.

Isn't that the most obvious answer one would think of first before posting the question here?

Most of all, you have to be disciplined and you have to save, even if you hate our current financial system. Because if you don't save, then you're guaranteed to end up with nothing.

Get the model of you dvd player, google for multiregion hack, unless you have a high end machine you might be lucky.
Google around there are region free media players, like vlc (only for rpc-1 drives).
Btw thread like these belongs into the tech support forum.
