Ok, I really enjoyed the lacklusterness Tylor has to offer in the series. He made it interesting... but this OVA man oh man it is killing me

I see the ending and than I ask myself what the heck just happened? don't leave me here...

I'm sorry to say it that's how they ended it and their is no manga or novels to tell you what happens afterwards. Least with Beserk the manga continues the story.

They should have ended with the TV series with the first OAV special when Tylor is injured and while trying to negociate peace with Azalyn etc and admits he wants to marry Yuriko. After that the story and animation quality went down hill and in the crapper.

thats terrible. It's such a stupid ending... why go threw all that work for nothing? Not a thing to hint at what happens after?

FWIW, I just got my Tylor TV Series Limited Ultra Edition Box Set. It has a thin "novella written by Tylor creator Hitoshi Yoshioka". Didn't get a chance to read past the first few paragraphs, but, the novella starts with a conversation between the newly wedded Tylor and Yuriko. It's part one. I'm guessing part two of the novella is in the Tylor OVA Series Limited Ultra Edition Box Set.

Arghh!!! I already own all of these DVDs and CDs when theRightStuff first released them. Now I got to buy them all over again because of what's in the novellas and maybe what's in the specials....

Fortunately these new Ultra Box Sets are really nice and can be had for a good discount.

Bump for updates? If I remember (from years ago) my OVA said Yamamoto took over command of the war or was it Tylor's children? Fighting Asalyns' childhood BBF...

Anyways I was always rooting for TylorxAsalyn.

Man I would like to know what happens in the 2 novellas.

All I know is that tylor sorta proposed via recording (inadverdant at that) and I know the evil is Azylyns old Boyfriend.

Though I really would like them to finish it...if only as a single OVA to round it out.

So I recently got a hold of this series (I watched the second half of it years ago at a local anime club) and came across something about a manga that was produced 8 years ago...

I am trying to verify if something I read about it is true...

Spoiler: The Soyokaze is given an honorible retierment, there comes this new thrid force which has a 2x's bigger mothership than the rangaan (sp) Dom and Tyler are now all on the same side it seems and the princess is stil lwaiting to be rescued. Please somebody tell me what happens after that. Whats the new enemy called? What do they look like? Do the Rangaan and Earth stay allies and win the war? Does Tyler retire a happy man? Please anything. I hate cliffhangers Berserk p'ed me off just as much as this show... lol Thanks, I did do a search and saw nothing. I even checked the list.
