Talking Dont mess with my Dog

Quote:

A dog owner has murdered a couple who ‘humiliated his dog in the town of Orsha, Belarus. The man used a log as a weapon, Interfax reported on Thursday.

“The 20-year-old man, who had a criminal record, has been detained for killing a man and a woman,” a police source said.

“He was walking his dog when a drunken couple started teasing it. The suspect, who was also drunk, hit the man with a log, and, afterwards, finished off the sobered up woman,” he said.

The man said he killed the couple out of “love for his four-legged friend.”

Miss Universe Australia in "skinny" controversy

This doesn't appear right to me.. It is obvious that the woman is suffering serious malnutrition. 49kg is okay for ladies between the height of 1.5-1.6m but 1.8m is rather.. How is she going to win the Miss Universe competition? Or rather to say, why she even do that to herself before applying for Miss Australia? I have no clue.

Full News Report :

Quote:
Fears that an Iranian ban on imports from its arch foe Israel was flouted by the sale of Jaffa oranges have sparked an inquiry in Tehran, reports say.

City authorities asked the judiciary to take action after the Israeli fruit was allegedly imported in boxes marked as Chinese, local media report.

The fruit was imported via Dubai and put on sale at markets and in shops in and around Tehran, one report says.

A news agency showed pictures of boxes containing fruit bearing a Jaffa label.

In its report on the alleged distribution of the oranges, the Ilna news agency said fruit still in storage would not be sold.

Photos released by the Mehr news agency show oranges clearly marked "Jaffa Sweetie Israel PO".

An Iranian customs official later told a third news agency, Isna, he found the reports impossible to believe but added that if any Israeli oranges had been imported, it could only have happened through unofficial channels.

"In addition to the inspections, importers are informed about the laws and they will never take such risks for importing just a few tonnes of goods," said Mohammad Reza Naderi, deputy head of Iranian Customs.

"Even if it is said that the oranges were imported to the country from Israel, the import was not done through official channels."

The Jaffa orange, named after an Israeli city, is known for its sweetness, for having few seeds and being easy to peel.
That is why.

I can't believe that's real. Wasn't Maus' wife aware that her husband is sterile? I mean she was the one who cheated on him after all. She should have started complaining about as soon as she hears it, and even threaten the husband with a divorce to stop him doing that silly job. They are married after all she would have had every right to divorce. A normal married couple wouldn't consent to let the husband do such thing, seriously.

Shark 'dumped' on Australia paper

Quote:
Police in Australia say they are "dumbfounded" by the dumping of a live shark on the doorstep of a newspaper in Victoria state.

The two-foot (60cm) creature was found lying at the front door of The Standard in Warrnambool city under cover of darkness after midnight on Wednesday.

The fish - a Port Jackson shark - was said to be relatively harmless.

Police released it into the harbour after carrying it in a bucket of water borrowed from a McDonald's restaurant.

Police said the juvenile Port Jackson shark - a common species on Australia's south coast - was spotted in the early hours of Thursday by a man leaving the fast-food restaurant, located next door to the offices of The Standard.

'Still breathing'

"We arrived and poured some water on it just to see if it was still breathing and it kicked around for a little while," Constable Jarrod Dwyer told state radio.

He said the newspaper had no idea why anyone would leave the shark there to die.

"They had no ideas of any person that wished them any harm or wished to send them any type of message, so we're a little dumbfounded," he said.

Port Jackson sharks can grow up to 1.6m long (5.5 ft). They typically feed on crustaceans, sea urchins and fish.

Constable Dwyer's partner, Acting Sgt Greg Cresell, told the Warrnambool Standard that it was one of the most bizarre incidents he had come across in his time as a police officer.

"We've had some strange things in the van before, but never a shark," he said.

A fisheries official told the paper that the sharks were harmless, except for two venomous dorsal spines.

Authorities have vowed to charge the offenders with animal cruelty, if they find those responsible for dumping the shark.

I think the bolded part answer your questions. He said he was just doing it for the money(whether that's believable or not. . .), but he must have been a rather decent husband that brought in a liveable income otherwise. She was probably afraid that if she objected, her secret affairs would come out as well.

The whole thing sorta reminds me of the movie 'Indecent Proposal', where Robert Redford's character offer one million dollars to Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson's characters for one night with Moore.

Why would she be aware of his sterility? She must have known it was possible he wasn't the father, that's all.
